[ENG-ESP] The Mandalorian (SERIES REVIEW)

Directed by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian is a three-season series that belongs to the Star Wars saga, tracing itself back to the history and origin of the Mandalorians. A bounty hunter from this ancient clan is hired by a mercenary to capture and deliver an alien creature who he later discovers is a jedi. Escaping with him across the galaxy, the Mandalorian adopts him as his son, only to be pursued on a grand scale by criminals and warlords who crave his supernatural power.

Dirigida por Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian es una serie de tres temporadas que pertenece a la saga de Star Wars, remontándose a sí misma en la historia y origen de los mandalorianos. Un caza recompensas de este antiguo clan es contratado por un mercenario para capturar y entregar una criatura alienígena quien luego descubre que se trata de un jedi. Escapando con él a través de la galaxia, el mandaloriano lo adopta como si fuera su hijo, siendo perseguidos a gran escala por criminales y jefes de guerra que ansían su poder sobrenatural.

Pedro Pascal stars as the Mandalorian Din Djarin, dressed in helmet and armour in every episode. Other actors appearing in the series include Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Dave Filoni, Nick Holte, Ming-Na Wen, Taika Waititi, Omid Abtahi, David Acord and Mark Hamill.

The Mandalorian can be categorised as a sci-fi series mixed with fantasy and touches of action. Its episodes are not usually long, as they all begin and end by telling a particular story in the form of a fable following a line that converges until the end of each season.

The Mandalorian puede catalogarse como una serie de ciencia y ficción mezclada con fantasía y toques de acción. Sus episodios no suelen durar mucho, puesto que todos comienzan y terminan contando una historia en particular en forma de fábula siguiendo una línea que converge hasta el final de cada temporada.

Graphics are on par with the company's other projects, even maintaining that transitive aesthetic in scenes from the films of the saga used over thirty years ago as a sign of tradition. Andor, Ahsoka, Rogue One and The Book of Boba Fett interconnect with this series, creating a story arc that allows for scalability between them, making a positive impact on their own cinematic universe.

Los gráficos están a la par de los proyectos de la misma compañía, incluso, mantienen esa estética transitiva en escenas de las películas de la saga usadas hace más de treinta años atrás como muestra de tradición. Andor, Ahsoka, Rogue One y The Book of Boba Fett interconectan con esta serie y su historia, creando un arco argumental que propicia una escalabilidad entre ellas, provocando un impacto positivo en su propio universo cinematográfico.

One of the best things about this television show is its soundtrack, captivating instantly with its sonority and melodies, which are somewhere between classical and far Eastern. The production of the show is an exquisiteness full of familiar faces and epic battles starring good choreography.

Una de las mejores cosas que tiene este show televisivo es su banda sonora, que cautiva al instante con su sonoridad y melodías que median entre lo clásico y el lejano oriente. La producción de la misma es una exquisitez llena de caras conocidas y batallas épicas protagonnizadas por buenas coreografías.

Giancarlo Esposito is our main antagonist in the role of Governor Moff Gideon who leads an Imperial fleet with great ambitions of governance. His performance, as expected, is one of the most elemental and unforgettable of the entire series. Ming-Na Wen, Gina Carano and Taika Waititi appear in different episodes in cameos or in order to hook the audience with other future projects.

Giancarlo Esposito es nuestro antagonista principal en el papel del gobernador Moff Gideon quien dirige una flota imperial con grandes ambiciones de gobernanza. Su actuación, como es de esperarse, es una de las más elementales e inolvidables de toda la serie. Ming-Na Wen, Gina Carano y Taika Waititi aparecen en diferentes episodios en cameos o con el fin de enganchar a la audiencia con otros futuros proyectos.

If you're looking to relax and have something to watch without having to spend a lot of time on it, this would be perfect material for that. After Andor, The Mandalorian is my second favourite series in the Star Wars saga and I'm actually not a big fan of it, but this one stole my heart. A live-action movie is being set to be released in 2025 with the same actors and director. What's your hype for it? Haven't seen the series? Here's my rating.

Si buscas relajarte y tener algo que ver sin tener que dedicarle mucho tiempo, esta sería un material perfecto para ello. Luego de Andor, The Mandalorian es mi segunda serie favorita de la saga de Star Wars y de hecho no soy muy fan de la misma, pero ésta me robó el corazón.
