[ENG-ESP] Transformers mixes with G.I.JOE: Hasbro Cinematographic Universe (MOVIE REVIEW)

This year saw the release of the latest film in the saga of autobots Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and it came out changing a little bit the panorama of what we already knew about them from previous films, uniting and making canon the television series of the last century in its own cinematic universe. The beasts and autobots unite in a fight against a lethal enemy that threatens to destroy the Earth, their only home, allying with humans to defend it. Find out how this film opens a new stage in cinema by developing its own interconnected universe.

Este año se estrenó la última cinta de la saga de los robots automóviles Transformers: Rise of the Beasts y vino cambiando un poco el panorama de lo que ya conocíamos de ellos por películas anteriores, uniendo, y haciendo canon las series de televisión del pasado siglo en su propio universo cinematográfico. Las bestias y los autobots se unen en una pelea contra un enemigo letal que amenaza con destruir la Tierra, su único hogar, aliándose con los humanos para defenderla. Entérate cómo esta película abre una nueva etapa en el cine desarrollando su propio universo interconectado.

This is the first time we see the transformers beasts in a live-action adaptation after 16 years of sequels, even when we thought they were parallel versions of the characters already presented in the movies. Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, David Sobolov as Rhinox, Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal and Michelle Yeoh as Airazor, generate a joint performance that is unforgettable for viewers. Also, Anthony Ramos as Noah and Dominique Fishback (Elena) are new actors who further humanize the film.

Es la primera vez que vemos a las bestias transformers en una adaptación de acción real después de 16 años de secuelas, incluso, cuando pensábamos que éstas eran versiones paralelas de los personajes presentados ya en el cine. Peter Cullen en la voz de Optimus Prime, David Sobolov como Rhinox, Ron Perlman como Optimus Primal, y Michelle Yeoh como Airazor, generan una actuación conjunta que resulta inolvidable para los espectadores. También, Anthony Ramos como Noah y Dominique Fishback (Elena) son los nuevos actores que humanizan más la cinta.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a direct sequel of the movie Bumblebee released in 2018, where many references are made to Hailee Stenfield and her character. Flashed back to the 1990's, the autobots have taken refuge on Earth after the destruction of their home planet Cybertron, waiting to reunite again somewhere in the galaxy. After finding a multiversal cybertron key, Unicron (Colman Domingo), the giant planet-devouring menace, sets off for Earth to find it, sending his most skilled henchmen.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts es una secuela directa de la película Bumblebee estrenada en 2018, donde se hacen muchas referencias a Hailee Stenfield y su personaje. Remontada a los años 90, los autobots se han refugiado en la Tierra tras la destrucción de su planeta natal Cybertron, esperando a reunirse nuevamente en algún lugar en la galaxia. Tras encontrarse una llave cibertrónica multiversal, Unicron (Colman Domingo) , la amenaza gigantezca devora planetas, monta rumbo a la Tierra a buscarla, enviando a sus secuaces más hábiles.

In this fight are the maximals, predacons, terracons and humans in between, trying to save the planet from eminent extinction, with epic battles, tangible graphics and many scenes of action and suspense. They say it's the best movie of the saga, but I see it as the most sentimental and human of all, it's a movie that easily touches your heart.

En esta lucha se encuentran los maximals, predacons, terracons y los humanos en medio, tratando de salvar el planeta de una extinción eminente, con épicas batallas, gráficos tangibles y muchas escenas de acción y suspenso. Dicen que es la mejor película de la saga, pero yo la veo como lo más sentimental y humana de todas, es una cinta que fácilmente te toca el corazón.

For the first time we see a Spanish-speaking character starring in a movie of this kind, showing the cultures, language and characteristics of Latin descent and its disadvantages in a first world country, which combines perfectly with the main plot, showing, in both parts, the science with fiction and modern drama.

Por primera vez vemos un personaje de habla hispana protagonizar una peli de este tipo, mostrando las culturas, idioma y características de la descendencia latina y sus desventajas en un país del primer mundo, que combina perfectamente con la trama principal, mostrando, en ambas partes, tanto la ciencia y ficción y el drama moderno.

Mirage (Pete Davidson) is a new character who comes to steal the show with his charisma, as it can be said that Bumblebee has been too "burned" all this time and his participation is no longer the same as before despite being a beloved character. Many of us also grew up watching the 3D TV series where the gorilla (Optimus Primal), the cheetah, the rhino and the rat appeared, and we fans have been dying to see this on the big screen, and, although his participation was not much, it was like reliving those times, but with many more graphics. The final battle was really amazing!

Mirage (Pete Davidson) es un personaje nuevo que viene a robarse el protagonismo con su carisma, ya que se puede decir que Bumblebee ha estado demasiado “quemado” todo este tiempo y su participación ya no es igual que antes a pesar de ser un personaje muy querido. Muchos crecimos también viendo la serie de televisión en 3D donde aparecía el gorila (Optimus Primal), el cheetah, el rinoceronte y la rata, y los fans, hemos muerto por ver esto en la pantalla grande, y, aunque su participación no fue mucha, fue como volver a vivir esos tiempos, pero con muchos más gráficos. ¡La batalla final estuvo increíble!

Right at the end of the film it's like reliving an Avengers: Endgame but with robots, showing the wildest side of all these characters together. Transformers: Rise of the Beats creates a new direction with a new trilogy series that will serve as a sequel to its first part, telling the story of the intergalactic robots before they meet Sam Witwicky. In addition, we will see more of these beasts again even in a new pre and post standalone movie but nothing officially confirmed by the company yet.

Justo al final de la cinta es como revivir un Avengers: Endgame pero con robots, mostrando el lado más salvage de todos estos personajes juntos. Transformers: Rise of the Beats crea un nuevo rumbo con una nueva serie de trilogías que servirán como secuela para su primera parte, contando la historia de los robots intergalácticos antes de encontrar a Sam Witwicky. Además, volveremos a ver más de estas bestias incluso en una nueva película independiente pre y post pero aún nada confirmado oficialmente por la compañía.

But what is confirmed is that Hasbro (company that owns the characters) has evidenced a mix of G.I. JOE with these characters at the end of the movie, thus creating an interconnected universe like what we have already seen in Marvel or the DCEU, also, releasing new movies that relate to the ones we have already seen almost 20 years ago.

Pero lo que sí está confirmado es que Hasbro (empresa dueña de los personajes) ha evidenciado una mezcla de G.I. JOE con estos personajes al final de la película, creando así un universo interconectado como lo que ya hemos visto en Marvel o el DCEU, también, lanzando nuevas películas que se relacionen con las que ya hemos visto hace casi 20 años.
