[ESP-ENG] REVIEW: The Batman

El 18 de Abril se lanzó en la plataforma HBO la nueva película de The Batman, protagonizada por Robert Pattinson y dirigida por Matt Reeves.

On April 18, the new The Batman movie was released on the HBO platform, starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves.

Conocemos a un Bruce Wayne joven, recién comenzando en su vida como justiciero, dos años después de haber obtenido su manto como protector de la ciudad. Se ve una Gotham corrompida por la justicia, gobernada en la sombras por la mafia italiana de Maroni y Falcone, donde los jueces, policías y personas de alto rango responden a ellos.

We meet a young Bruce Wayne, just beginning his life as a vigilante, two years after earning his mantle as protector of the city. We see a Gotham corrupted by justice, ruled in the shadows by the Italian mafia of Maroni and Falcone, where judges, police and high-ranking people answer to them.

Queriendo sacar a la luz la verdad y eliminar la corrupción del estado, Edward Nygma, comienza una serie de asesinatos entrelazados con el fin de llegar a un punto en el que los líderes abandonen el poder conjunto a la ciudad, dejando pistas en forma de acertijos que rompen la mente del protagonista del filme.

Wanting to expose the truth and eliminate the corruption of the state, Edward Nygma begins a series of interlocking assassinations in order to reach a point where the leaders relinquish joint power to the city, leaving behind clues in the form of riddles, that break the mind of the protagonist of the film.

Gordon, interpretado por Jeffrey Wright, cansado de ver a una ciudad esclavizada por la injusticia de la ley, se ve obligado a ayudar a Batman a detener The Riddler, persiguiéndolo por toda la ciudad con sus acertijos. Se nota un cansancio en el personaje principal, evidenciando la excelentísima actuación de Robert en la película, como la tecnología que usa para grabar sus momentos durante las batallas, cambio de modus durante persecusiones y el peso que lleva consigo la muerte de sus padres.

Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright, tired of seeing a city enslaved by the injustice of the law, is forced to help Batman to stop The Riddler, chasing him around the city with his riddles. You can see a tiredness in the main character, evidencing the excellent performance of Robert in the film, such as the technology he uses to record his moments during battles, change of modus during persecutions and the weight that the death of his parents carries with him.

Podemos ver a The Pinguin (Colin Farrell), Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) y The Joker (Barry Keoghan) dando una muy buena actuación con gran vigor en la historia. Los acontencimientos de la película transcurren en un año aproximado entre el 2010 y 2022 según las condiciones que se pueden apreciar en el ambiente, una Gotham moderna e industrializada.

We can see The Pinguin (Colin Farrell), Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and The Joker (Barry Keoghan) giving a very good performance with great vigor in the story. The events of the film take place in an approximate year between 2010 and 2022 according to the conditions that can be seen in the environment, a modern and industrialized Gotham.

The Batman sin duda es un filme que muestra el lado más oscuro del personaje visto hasta la fecha, repleto de easter eggs y elementos de otros personajes de la saga. Ambientada en un universo diferente al de Zack Snyder, la peli promete para convertirse en una nueva historia que reúna a un nuevo equipo de superhumanos que pueda llevar a traer a una nueva alineación de la Liga de la Justicia en próximas historias.

The Batman is undoubtedly a film that shows the darkest side of the character seen to date, full of easter eggs and elements of other characters in the saga. Set in a different universe than Zack Snyder, the movie promises to become a new story that brings together a new team of superhumans that may lead to bringing in a new Justice League lineup in upcoming stories.

El largometraje concluye haciéndole ver a Bruce los errores que estaba cometiendo como "salvador" todo esta ciudad, quien estaba aportando venganza en vez de luz, llegando a ser al final la esperanza lo que las personas de Gotham necesitaban. Está llena de sufrimiento, pero también llena de momentos que, como persona te hacen reflexionar y pensar comparando lo ficticio con lo real.

The film concludes by making Bruce see the mistakes he was making as a "savior" throughout this city, who was bringing revenge instead of light, ultimately becoming the hope that the people of Gotham needed. It is full of suffering, but also full of moments that, as a person, make you reflect and think comparing the fictional with real.

Los trastonos y doble personalidad de Bruce evidencian qué tanto lo afectó la pérdida de sus padres, incontrolando el dolor que transmite el personaje a lo largo de la película. El traje y armadura le dan ese toque sacado de los cómics convirtiéndolo en un 100% comic accurate tanto con él como sin él.

Bruce's disorders and dual personality show how much the loss of his parents affected him, uncontrolling the pain that the character transmits throughout the film. The suit and armor give him that touch taken from the comics, making him 100% comic accurate both with him and without him.

Ya una segunda parte se encuentra en desarrollo con el mismo director, y quién sabe, seguro estará mejor que la primera y más con la participación del Joker de Barry Keoghan. Para mí, ésta es una de las mejores películas del personaje, pero tú que piensas, te leo en la caja de comentarios ⤵️
