The latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Thor: Love and Thunder just premiered on the Disney+ platform this September reaching millions of viewers worldwide.

The film, despite its short length compared to its predecessors, manages to bring one of the greatest solo stories of the god of thunder to the big screen.

Tired of not finding love, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) renounces it and dedicates himself to being a warrior in battle alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy team with whom he shares a middle part of his story early in the film.

The events take place 2 years after the events in Avengers: Endgame, where the central character begins to work on himself and improve his physical condition.

After several calls for help around the universe, Thor travels with Korg (Taika Waititi) to save Lady Sif (Jamie Alexander) who had been defeated in battle by Gorr The God's Butcher and takes her to New Asgard on Earth.

After meeting Valkirie (Tessa Thompson) they fight a horde of demons led by Gorr who kidnaps the town's children to get the attention of the leaders, when Dr. Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) reappears wearing Thor's armor.

Jane Foster was battling a severe late-stage cancer disease and sought with the help of Dr. Selvig an unsolvable cure for it.

The film's central plot is based on self-love and love for others and finding inner peace, according to the scenes shown in the film, supported by great scenes of science fiction and fantasy with battles of gods.

The cameos of Darcy Lewis, Hercules, Zeus (Russell Crowe), Bast, Eternity and other gods are epic scenes that show us beyond what we have seen before in the MCU, such as Mount Olympus and Valhalla.

Christian Bale as Gorr is a villain that terrifies, with macabre and horror scenes that frequent very little in the Infinity Saga and The Multiverse Saga, plus the backstory attached to the character allows to give him a link that fuels his sad ending.

Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth and Melissa McCarthy portraying the Asgard story plays increase the hype by seeing them as doublage actors in scenes with quite a bit of scenery.

Despite the mysterious tone, Thor being a charismatic character still has the character's own dark, adolescent humor that keeps the pacing suitable for underage viewers.

We see for the first time the character Love appearing in the MCU who we can possibly see later become a major factor in the continuation of Marvel's stories.

This film will connect directly to the new Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty movie coming soon in 2023 and 2025 respectively, and closes a historical framework creating a before and after in what is coming up to finish The Multiverse Saga which is already halfway done.

There is still speculation that a fifth installment will arrive before the sixth Avengers movie or possibly before the fifth one, where we may see characters we haven't seen on screen before like Balder and Billy Ray Beta and maybe even Loki with his banter again.

And you: Have you already seen the movie? If you have already seen it, let me know what you thought of the easter egg in the final post-credits scene regarding the multiversal rift that we saw in the Loki series, and if not, what are you waiting to see it?
