After 3 months without the television company Marvel transmitting any new series of its line of superheroes, Moon Knight arrives showing the darkest part of the MCU.

The story introduces us to Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a children's candy vendor at an Egyptian antiquities museum, who has difficulty sleeping and must take safety precautions so that his nights are not compromised by his own sleepwalking.

The events take place in the year 2026 in a post-blip era, located chronologically after the events of the Hawkeye series.

Grant's sleepwalking, at first shown as Alzheimer's disease as he can not remember some moments of his life. Steven believes he is in control of his existence until he meets Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) from whom he steals one of his Egyptian relics, where he is constantly pursued by him, trying to escape his demonic invocations.

In his escape attempts, Steven realizes that other personalities, versions of himself, coexist within him, including Marc Spector, who has mystical abilities and is in control of his body most of the time. As the story progresses, the internal war that exists between the different identities is shown, which causes a lack of control in Steven, causing him to lose important stages of his life. All versions of himself are presented in a mediation of chaos to the point of even being able to imitate abilities of other beings.

The appearance of several deities, including Ammit, a goddess from ancient Egypt, introduces us to the darkest face of Marvel Studios, entering its paranormal universe. In the series, various characters from this universe are alluded to, commenting on a narrative with which to innovate and that could be included in a future catalog of new series for the upcoming years.

Undoubtedly, Moon Knight is a series that breaks the mold of what we currently know about the MCU, managing to combine suspense with comedy, giving us a good time to enjoy it. In the future, Marc Spector could join not The Avengers, but the outstanding group of Midnight Sons or The Defenders, forming part of a collective of superhumans with mystical abilities, including Wolfman, Doctor Strange, Blade, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider or Daredevil himself.

Thank you for your review. I am definitely going to give it a try. My wife may not like it as much as the older MCU movies. Thanks again!
