[Kathleen Kennedy's Departure]
The day finally arrived. When KK took over Lucas Arts, I was happy to finally get a sequel to my Star Wars. Then I discovered that this universe no longer excites me, and the Disney trilogy is as low-quality as Lucas's prequels. Ms. Kennedy made a shoddy job, there's no point pretending. The script in the new trilogy is even worse than Lucas's first. Literally nothing connects, and unlike people who say otherwise today, I wrote it that way from the beginning. Nevertheless, Ms. Kennedy has incomparably more experience than I do. Star Wars will probably go down as a career setback, but that won't erase her previous experiences. And that's good, because at least she's a good producer, to whom we owe a lot. Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan have been appointed as the new managers of the SW brand.
And speaking of news, the new Star Wars movie was designed 100% as a standalone. It's a shame it's so late. I think Star Wars lore would benefit greatly if the franchise were handled this way. We also know that the producer of the X-Men films is reportedly working on a new trilogy. According to KK, it's an interesting script. She also commented on other films. I also agree that Rian Johnson's film is the best installment in franchise history... Besides The Empire Strikes Back :P.

[Odejście Kathleen Kennedy]
W końcu nastał ten dzień. Gdy KK przejmowała Lucas Arts, byłem zadowolony, że w końcu dostanę kontynuację moich Star Wars. Potem odkryłem, że to uniwersum już mnie nie jara, a trylogia Disneya jest na podobnie niskim poziomie, co prequele od Lucasa. Pani Kennedy zrobiła tandetę, nie ma co udawać. Scenariusz w nowej trylogii jest jeszcze gorszy niż w pierwszej od Lucasa. Tu się dosłownie nic nie łączy i w przeciwieństwie do ludzi, którzy dziś mówią inaczej, ja tak pisałem od początku. Niemniej pani Kennedy ma nieporównywalnie większe doświadczenie niż ja. Star Wars zapewne zapisze się jako wpadka w jej karierze, ale nie cofnie to jej wcześniejszych doświadczeń. I dobrze, bo to przynajmniej dobra producentka, której wiele zawdzięczamy. Nowymi zarządcami marki SW zostali Dave Filoni i Lynwen Brennan.
A jeśli chodzi o newsy, nowy film SW został w 100% zaprojektowany jako stand-alone. Szkoda, że tak późno. Myślę, że lore Star Wars sporo by zyskało, gdyby tak prowadzono tę franczyzę. Wiemy też, że podobno producent filmów o X-Men pracuje nad nową trylogią. Wg KK jest to ciekawy skrypt. Wypowiedziała się też o innych filmach. Zgadzam się też z tym, że film Riana Johnsona, to najlepsza część w historii franczyzy... Poza Imperium Kontratakuje :P.
