A few days ago, a very famous actress passed away. She may not have had many roles under her belt, but everyone from my generation saw her as Kevin's mom. In memes, watching TV, or in movies. Sorry, there's no other way. It's like growing up in the '90s without knowing what DB or Sailor Moon was. For years, the actress didn't appear in many films, but recently she had a really cool mini-role in The Last of Us. It's a shame. But that's life.

[Netflix's Very Good Year]
While we may complain about this streaming platform, the numbers speak for themselves. It's like with Disney – you can complain, but at the end of the day, when you add up all the profits, Disney comes out on top. Netflix has the three most-watched series of last year. Landman and Reacher also received recognition. The most watched film, in turn, was… K-Pop Demon Hunters, no surprise there. The film even beat Disney's small hit, Moana 2. I wonder if the same would have happened if Zootopia 2 or Lilo & Stitch Live Action had taken its place. The film's main audience was children aged 2-11.

Kilka dni temu, zmarła bardzo znana aktorka. Może nie miała wielu ról na swoim koncie, ale każdy przedstawiciel mojego pokolenia widział ją w roli mamy Kevina. Na memie, oglądając TV lub film. No sorry, nie da się inaczej. To tak jakbyście dorastali w latach '90 nie wiedząc, co to DB lub Sailor Moon. Przez lata aktorka nie występowała w wielu filmach, ale niedawno temu zaliczyła bardzo fajną mini-rolę w The Last of Us. Szkoda. No ale takie życie.

Choć możemy narzekać na tę platformę streamingową, to liczby mówią same za siebie. To jest tak jak z Disneyem – można narzekać, ale na koniec dnia, gdy podliczy się wszystkie zyski, Disney wychodzi cały na biało. Netflix ma w swojej ofercie 3 najchętniej oglądane seriale zeszłego roku. Wyróżniono też Landman oraz Reacher. Z kolei najchętniej oglądanym filmem było… KPop Demon Hunters, zero zdziwienia. Film pobił nawet mały hit Disneya, Moana 2. Ciekawe, czy to samo by się stało, gdyby na jego miejscu była Zootopia 2 lub Lilo & Stitch Live Action.
