Nice post. I’m a fan of the first movie, it is Ridley Scott’s most personal movie and probably the best of his entire career. I went to see the second part in 2017 and I was really disappointed: it was long, dull, soulless, and boring, it’s not a rival for the first one, although you have to admit the visuals are great; I don’t want to see that crap ever again in my life, but who knows? Maybe I’ll change my mind. I have also read the book a couple of times and I even wrote a post about it in 2021. If you haven’t read it, I recommend you so, it is so much better than both movies, one of the best dystopian novels ever written. I read the article. It's quite detailed. There are differences between the movie and the book in most productions, you have detailed this very well. Personally, I chose to stick to both movies because I haven't read the book. You put a lot of work into the article. Thank you very much.
