Bridgerton fan

I have watched the seasons of Bridgerton with pleasure. I love the storyline as well as the amazing costumes. I often watched it thinking, I'm happy I wasn't born in that era because all the glitter and glam doesn't seem to be worth all the downsides that came with being born in that era. It may look nice these heavy dresses with jewels etc, but it sure doesn't seem comfortable at all traveling far in such dresses without being able to relax and catch a breath for a few minutes.

Queen Charlotte

I didn't know there was going to be a next show called Queen Charlotte until I accidentally read about it on social media. I was happy though, I love these unexpected surprises as this means I had another season to watch of a show I will probably enjoy. Queen Charlotte always seemed like a cold personality, although we could have expected that there was probably more to the story of how she became this way. Charlotte's faith was marrying the king of England, while she is not in agreement when her brother brings her to the UK to meet her future husband.

Charlotte is not used to the royal customs

For example, she has a person following her by 5 steps at all times. She hates this and it takes a while for her to become used to this being a normal thing inside the castle. When she tries to climb over the wall of the castle garden, she meets George and there's a chemistry between them so slowly she's starting to accept her faith.

King George

Although it seems he's quite a normal guy at first, King George is not normal at all. Charlotte finds out as soon as the wedding night that he's acting strange and doesn't want to live in the same house as her. How can she think of something else than him not being interested in her personally? Along the show, strange things happen, and at some point, it becomes clear that there's much more to the story than Charlotte could have ever known.

A love quote

This one stuck with me and I had to share this quote from the show:
