I had no idea the Smurfs dated back to the '60s. Yeah, I was a kid growing up in the '60s, but never heard of them back then. This is a good bit of television history.

As for other cartoons that have been around for ages -
Scooby-Doo (I mentioned that on discord - would enjoy seeing how you tackle that one)
Johnny Quest also comes to mind with its iconic jazz theme song.

Both of these series have had comic book series over the years

Maybe Duck Tales? I haven't seen many of the episodes, but what I have seen has been good

I have to be honest here, I didn't either until I looked that up. I did know they were old but didn't expect them to be even 20-25 years older than I knew. They go way back!

I remember watching Scooby Doo myself but it was never a favorite of mine, but wil keep it in mind for future posts for sure! Could be that I find something interesting when I look for more info..

Duck Tales I did love, don't know much about the history there either so taking note, for when I'm looking for another topic :)

Scooby has had so many incarnations. I started with it when it was in its very first season. I did out grow it during my high school years, and returned to it when I introduced my daughter to it when she was like 3 or 4 years old. It's stuck with us.

If your next one is Duck Tales, will be looking forward to seeing that, or any others. Fun Stuff!

Funny how these cartoons just keep existing for that many years, right? I put both on my list to check out, I can't promise when and if I actually dig into it, as sometimes I get an idea which flows smoothly first and then it will get priority, but your ideas are noted and appreciated :)
