It Started With A Kiss Is A Taiwan Nostalgic Series

Hi, movie lovers … Is there a show that is so nostalgic for you that even though it's been decades, you still watch it again? I have a series that I often rewatch when I miss it and yesterday I just finished it. The total viewing of this series is divided into two seasons. And each season has 20 episodes, so the total I watched is 40 episodes! Imagine! I, who usually can't stand long episodes, this time I really enjoyed it. You could say, this show is like an mpod booster. ha ha ha

IT STARTED WITH A KISS: THEY KISS AGAIN

This is an adaptation of the original Japanese version of Itazura Na Kiss which aired in 1996. Then, Taiwan also showed off their adaptation and aired in 2005. Does that mean it was 20 years ago? But, these past few days I've been in the mood to watch something sweet so I chose to watch the Taiwanese version again. Actually my previous consideration was to rewatch the Japanese version in 2013, but because the Taiwanese version was more exciting and sweet, I chose to return to this series

Starting from the love of Yuang Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin) who has an IQ of 75 for Jiang Zhi Shu (JOseph Cheng) who has an IQ above 200. With this intelligence gap, Xiang Qin was rejected outright by Zhi Shu. One school found out that a stupid and selfless person like Xiang Qin had expressed his love to the smartest and most accomplished student like Zhi Shu.

However, unfortunately he could not be rejected, Zhi Shu had to accept the bitter reality that someone who he rejected outright had to live under the same roof as his family because of something. From here the excitement of proving Xiang Qin's love for his idol was proven little by little.

Smart, handsome, and a rich kid makes him an arrogant person and tends to have no sympathy or empathy. Until the arrival of Xiang QIn changes him and teaches him something indirectly: how someone loves each other. Zhi Shu, although depicted as a very cold figure, however, it is seen that he will wholeheartedly guard the people he loves. It is proven that episode after episode depicts Zhi Shu's cold nature which slowly fades.

Depicted as having a posture and behavior like a child, Ariel Lin is sometimes misunderstood unlike other high school teenagers. However, the best thing about Xiang Qin is that he is very diligent in trying for the things he wants such as: winning Zhi Shu's heart, getting a rank of 100 in his school even though it feels very impossible, and his very cheerful nature makes Xiang QIn so easy to love. Xiang Qin is also depicted as a figure who does not give up easily, especially when it is about love. He tends to want to win Zhi Shu's heart even though it is tiring.

Family, friendship, romance, and about achieving dreams that are wrapped in a lot of funny comedy elements make It Start With A Kiss indeed worthy of being loved. Like me who has failed to move on for 20 years with this series. Hu hu. What I like about this adaptation version is, the acting of the players is very, very extraordinary and there are so many im,prove scenes that make the results very natural.

If you are also missing old-school movies, please watch it as a form of you holding yourself to appreciate yourself in rest mode. For this, it's still 10/10. I will give all adaptations of Itazura NA Kiss a score of 100 because I am very happy that there are funny works like this in my life. Thank you filmmakers, and other artists.
