Cinetv contest #134 - Favourite Disney Movie Peter Pan
Disney films have been a part of our lives since we were kids and it still is a part of our lives even till date, I remember growing up to watching a lot of films from Disney like Aladdin, sleeping beauty, snow white,Peter pan , Alice in wonderland, Cinderella, etc. All this movies actually made our childhood, funniest thing is we don't seem to forget how the story line went , it's as if the movie is living rent free in my mind , because its just feels like it was yesterday I sat with my sister's watching this movies.
You know why it's something I can never forget? , it is because they were memories of my childhood and also one with my sisters , you see , then there wasn't any movie I wanted to see that I wouldn't do with my sisters, they were like the main part of the memories watching all these films.
I wouldn't say I have a favourite , because I have many and to tell you that it's actually hard picking just one ,but one that really did stand out from among this movies was Peter pan, Peter was a movie I and my sisters watched with curiosity because we had been told of how it was by our young friends then, and since we didn't have the movie , we literally begged our parents to help us get the Disk for this movie, I remember we begged for months before one day my dad got it for us to see .
And thankfully we didn't have to wait for Nepa light , because that would have been another problem , because electricity wasn't always constant, thank God for my dad's I pass my neighbour Generator, we sat down to watch Peter pan that day with great interest and to fulfil all our curiosity.
The movie Peter pan was like one of the best magically movie I saw , you know how everyone was talking about the boy who never grew old , and there's Wendy ,and her siblings also thinker bell who took them to the Never land, where they met the lost boys , all the adventures they had to go through and everything , I remember I and my sisters putting ourselves in Wendy, John and Michael shoes, saying if we were the ones with Peter pan maybe we wouldn't have wanted to go back home , just like how Peter pan refused to go back and wanted to be a boy forever.
Let's just say we actually did love the whole magical story to the whole movie and at a boy I remember my younger sister crying because of the movie. I can't remember the exact details of why she cried but I knew , yeah who wouldn't love a good Disney movie like Peter pan.
Even after seeing the movie, we all wanted to do a play on this movie, I know I remembered one of us trying to be the hook who was after Peter pan’s life because Peter had cut this hand and fed it to crocodiles , I remember one of us wrapper our hand with a cloth and making out the hook hand with paper and celotape.
Peter Pan was actually a good see for us then, I know myom also saw this movie then and we were like “shey mommy we were telling you to help us get this movie since you did not , now you see that it's interesting right?” I think that made my mom always respond to our request for movies, especially if we told her that it was a good one , she made sure to always attend to our request whenever .
I really did love seeing the movie Peter pan because of the whole magical stuff around it, and you know what's Disney if not magical, I think this made our childhood like really did. And somehow I'm grateful for the producers of Disney films , I know they made the childhood of many children memorable and they are still in business of doing for for many other kids in today's world.

I enjoyed watching movies with my siblings when we were young, too and it formed a great part of my childhood. I haven’t seen this movie before but it sounds like an interesting one.
It's actually quite interesting.
One of my favorites Disney movies of all time. The character was a cool chap, although he could be really mean and brutal sometimes that that brought out the flavor of the film.
