Movie Review - Call of the Wild .
So I decided to finally see this movie “Call of the wild” . At first I was hesitant to see it mostly because it involves animals, and Nah! I don't have anything against animals in fact I love movies that has animals as characters and they have a way that they get through to me… ehmmm in a way though.
So Call of the wild a story from jack london is about a big domestic dog called buck who got stolen from his house and then now sold to be a sled dog, when he arrived at Alaska he met many things which were new to him for the first time in his life, in his new life he learns to fight with his fangs and teeth all for the sake of dominance, there he learns to pull a sled and also he learns how to survive in the winter, all these were new stuff to him. He found it difficult at first but later he got accustomed to it, And under the ownership of Francois and Perrault , Buck becomes a very exceptional sled dog despite not having experienced such kind of work before.
And after changing owners several times ,Buck then eventually meets John Thornton that saved him from cruel owners. With him Buck developsa very intense devotion to john and for the first time In the Northland he experiences a loving relationship with a human , With John Thornton, Buck achieves legendary status for his strength and abilities , ones he never knew he had before.
As time went by Buck feels a pull now to the wild life but kept coming back to John, soon John is killed by a group of indigenous people, and that severed the ties that buck had to human life , he soon Answered to the call of the wild and there he joined a wolf pack where he also did discover himself and where he became a legendary figure amongst the local tribes there.
In a way I rate this movie 7/10, Also, I heard this is in a book form too by the same producer. I stand to be corrected if it's order wise.
What got me struck me most about this movie is the incredible transformation of Buck from being a pampered house dog to bring a fierce wilderness survivor, Somehow this movie helps me appreciate the useful of animals in human lifes and also that no person should be treated unjustly no matter the kind of species that you are.
The theme of finding someone's s true self is just overwhelming throughout the film, And Buck's gradual awakening to his wild nature feels like a metaphor for we humans self-discovery, See Call of the wild creates this question that asks you how close you are to nature? What's that things can you can really tell yourself that you know about nature itself
I love that I eventually saw this movie and would recommend you see it too..

I have seen this movie and it was totally work the time. The dog’s spirit of leadership was the most crucial part for me.
Even as a domestic animal he found his purpose even in the wild.
I loved every bit of this movie
Yeah. Really nice movie.
