Just finished the second season Of Alice in Borderland, which is a Japanese Netflix production based on a manga of the same name from 2010:

Alice in Borderland (Japanese: 今際の国のアリス, Hepburn: Imawa no Kuni no Arisu) is a Japanese suspense manga series written and illustrated by Haro Aso. It was first serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Sunday S from November 2010 to March 2015, and later moved to Weekly Shōnen Sunday, where it ran from April 2015 to March 2016. source

I have talked about this series a few times in the past. If you have never heard of it, it's like something saw, cube, hunger games etc, with it's own very unique spin.

So, after finishing the second (and probably last) season I must say it was worth my time, as it was a show I thoroughly enjoyed. Dunno if the manga fans are happy with the whole adaption, but personally I can't think of anything negative to say. Netflix pulled it off nicely with this one, and even the visuals were on par with Hollywood. I'd prefer if there was a more straight forward and clean ending, but with the whole premise being as is, it would be quite tough to provide one!

My final rating is a solid 8.5 /10. If you are looking for something good to s watch on Netflix I highly recommend it.

It's 16 episodes total which makes it perfect for a binge watch. My friend @urun will be disappointed though as there's not much gayness and political correctness :( There's a trans protagonist though although the actor is actually a biological woman... Racist!

I also just found out there's a mini anime version of the story, I ll probably give it watch next year and let you know what I think about it!

It was pretty shocking. I need to watch now some trans dating shows to get some progressive vibes again!

Just finished second season of this series right after it's release and it was perfect tho Season 1 was way much better in term of Games.. this second season was more like full of emotions.

Well, what do you think is it better than squid Game?

And I actually think there will be 3rd season but that would be extra drag should end at this point.

Can't really say, I liked em both equally!

Noice. Heard squid Game season 2 will stream in 2023.

I've been waiting a long time for the second season to come out - looking forward to binging on it this weekend!

Well, now whenever I have to watch the next season on the Netflix I'll prefer this one. And I hope that what you have recommended to me is good one.

@thebitcoindude also suggested to watch this season. I will definitely watch it this Sunday, many people are saying it is very interesting.

If it is like Hunger Games, you've got me hooked. Added it to my watchlist and will surely give it a try.

I started watching it the other night. Watched three episodes of season one. It’s a solid watch

This series has been calling my attention for a while, now that I know a little more about it, I'm even more curious to see it, thanks for sharing your review.

Give it a watch you won't regret it!

Whoa, that looks pretty good! I'll have to add it to my "list of things to watch if I ever subscribe to Netflix again"
