Okay, I didn't expect this from Sylvester Stallone!

I am not ashamed to say that Sylvester Stallone is one of my favorite actors. I was born in the late 80s, so naturally I grew up watching all of his action movies.

Rocky, Rambo, Cobra, Demolition Man, Judge Dredd are just a handful of his classics that I have seen countless times. And of course, I have similarly enjoyed his recent works, like The Expendables and Creed.

I think the guy approaches his eighties now and he probably decided to do the only film genre he has never done! After all, he even has soft porn in his bio...

All that was missing was..A super hero movie 🤣🤣

Plot from Wikipedia

A young boy comes to the realization that a famed superhero, who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle twenty-five years ago, may in fact still be around.

Well, the trailer does look interesting! Now, I don't think The Samaritan is gonna be a masterpiece, or even appeal to the masses.

But I know Stallone knows how to makes his fans happy and I have a feeling it will be exactly that. A movie the fans will greatly enjoy!

I am definitely watching it when it comes up on Amazon Prime on 26th of August! Wooot!

That does look good! I will be watching it too.

One thing for sure. He is in great shape for his age. I am jealous lol!

It's unbelievable that this guy is still doing action movies. Good for him.

avatar

Wow it looks really incredible. I watched his Rambo movies, now a superhero too !

He looks strong and fit for his age, I love his movies so much, will definitely check this one out

A geriatric super hero. Funny to think these guys are still doing action movies as make up can't hide this shit anymore. He is one of my favorites as well and even though he has done some real duds will be watching this.

Super hero movie today = old school action movie from sales :D

The incredible irony with Stallone is that he is one of the most indifferent actor for me and his moves are unbearable for me. The same time, my wife watches all Rambo, Rocky and Expendables type movies frantically! Can you imagine what happens to the remote control when it has its own movie?

I'm not lucky enough to born in 80s to watch classic movies back then

I've seen The expendables and it is one of top favorite movies of mine.

Man seriously he's that old.? Trailer look dope i can tell people are going to love it.

Looking forward to watch it though August is going to be great coz of "House of Dragons" Game of throne prequel coming out on maybe exact same date 26th..

I haven't seen a Stallone movie in ages but I'm interested in seeing how he manages a superhero one.

It's funny to think he's officially in a "superhero" movie since him and a lot of other 80s and 90s stars were in incredible action movies that made them seem even more larger-than-life than current superhero movie stars.

When I watch Rocky, he is already a superhero without cape! Hahaha. But hey, nice movie recommendation! After the trailer you showed, am quite excited. Definitely better than Resident Evil! Hahaha

I’m a child of the 80’s Sly is a classic part of that. Gonna see this for sure.

When he was born doctors accidentally damaged one of his nerves supply blood to brain, which caused him droopy lips and eyes, and for many years he had issues with his speech, but he overcome it and succeeded in movie career.

When there is a will there is way. :)

I like super heroes sorta movies, so this one is on the list. Thanks

We just saw a movie on our way from souther Nigeria to the western part.

I like the macho character he keeps bringing to the scenes even with all this woke culture sipping into everywhere.

I loved the thriller especially the ending...itnsortnof reminds me of Logan anyway

Nope, I'm not judging anything from trailers. Gotta wait to see it. This is exciting news from Stallone, hopefully he delivers like he's done in the past. I also never sae this coming! 😅 Sylvester Stallone as a super hero, damn.

Most of the Rocky movies, and Rambo (First blood is my favourite) are a bit older than you hehe.
I've watched all of them as a child, teen, and adult. I loved Sly, he had a prominent place on my wall. My favourite actor for many years. When others said Arnold Schwarzenegger was a better actor, I'd just laugh. Sylvester Stallone is a real actor. Arnie a wannabe haha.

Anyway, this movie looks quite interesting. I'm sure going to watch it. Haven't seen a Sly movie in ages! And yes, he's 76 years old, born on the same day as my dad. Still going strong.

He’s up there with the best of them indeed. One of my top favorites in the acting game of all time. I remember my dad taking me to see Rocky 2 when it came out. It’s a memory I treasure 🥊

I hadn't seen the preview. It looks like a good story, at least.

I saw the trailer. I think it looks like a gritty look at the life of an older super hero. I think that's why I like some of the older more seasoned Batman stories. He's weary, but knows he still has a job to do.
