How does the story go? | ¿Cómo va la historia?

The story begins with Wirt (He is the older brother and wears a pointed cap) and Greg (He is the younger brother and wears a hat with duck ears) walking in the middle of a forest where they meet a toad they call "Jason Funderberker", and this accompanies them in much of their adventure, they also meet Beatrice a bird that can talk but due to a certain problem loses the ability to speak so from that moment accompanies them on their adventure in the forest.

Something curious about the series is that it begins at the point where they are already deep into this world and while the older brother questions what is happening, the younger one just goes ahead without thinking much about the situation.

La historia empieza con Wirt (Es el hermano mayor y lleva una gorra puntiaguda) y Greg (Es el hermano menor y lleva un sombrero con orejas de pato) caminando en medio de un bosque en lo que se encuentran con un sapo al que llaman "Jason Funderberker", y este los acompaña en gran parte de su aventura, también se encuentran con Beatrice un pájaro que puede hablar pero debido a cierto problema pierde la capacidad de hablar así a partir de ese momento los acompaña en su aventura en el bosque.

Algo curioso de la serie es que comienza en el punto en el que ellos ya están adentrados dentro de este mundo y mientras el hermano mayor se cuestiona lo que está sucediendo, el menor solo sigue adelante sin pensar mucho en la situación.

Curiosities of the series | Curiosidades de la serie.

Being a relatively short series can tell us the story in a progressive way without digressing too much by the plot, but this in turn leaves us with enough intrigue about many characters that we do not get to know.

The music is really a very important part of the series from its intro to its last song. I can say that it is part of the story and skipping it is the equivalent of skipping an entire chapter.....

Patrick McHale makes clear a very peculiar style mainly in the color palette that is really opaque and with a lot of desaturated tones and as I mentioned before it is not exactly a series of suspense or horror but evokes those styles and in turn is cheerful in its own way which at the time I considered it something unique.

Al ser una serie relativamente corta nos puede contar la historia de forma progresiva sin divagar mucho por la trama, pero esto a su vez nos deja con bastante intriga acerca de muchos personajes que no llegamos a conocer.

La música es realmente una parte muy importante de la serie desde su intro hasta su última canción, puedo decir que es parte de la historia y saltarsela equivale a dejar de ver un capítulo entero....

Patrick McHale Deja en claro un estilo muy peculiar principalmente en la paleta de colores que es realmente opaca y con mucho tonos desaturados y como ya lo había mencionado antes no es precisamente una serie de suspenso o terror sin embargo evoca esos estilos y a su vez es alegre a su forma lo cual en su momento lo consideré algo único.

My opinion | Mi opinión

For me the truth was a great surprise the first time I saw it was only a little bit at an aunt's house and soon after I could see it complete and due to its music, its visual styles, animation and technique I would recommend it to anyone without any problem...

If I had to complain about something it is the fact that it lasts really short and I think that one or two more chapters could have made the story have a little more weight.

I also find it unbelievable that a series like this would be aired on a channel like cartoon network which is mainly for minors.

Para mi la verdad fue una gran sorpresa la primera vez que la vi solo fue un poco en la casa de una tía y poco después la pude ver completa y debido a su música sus estilos visuales, animación y técnica se la recomendaría a cualquier persona sin ningún problema...

si tuviera que quejarme de algo es del hecho que dura realmente poco y creo que un uno o dos capitulos mas podria haber hecho que la historia tuviera un poco más de peso.

También me parece increíble que una serie como esta fuese puesta en emisión en una canal como lo era cartoon network que es principalmente para menores.
