A balanced and much needed dose of social message and humor | OMG 2 on Netflix #TrueGEM

I am just sharing my review, no #spoilers :)

Just an hour ago I watched OMG 2 Movie on Netflix. However, this film was released on Netflix on 8th #October.
This film is about #SexEducation in #India.

My friends who watched this movie before me said that this issue is important but it is discussed more openly in this movie which makes it a bit vulgar. And it cannot be watched with children.

But my view on this film is totally different.

This is an issue that cannot be discussed without talking openly about it. But still, the writer expressed his views in pure Hindi and a little bit of Sanskrit so beautifully that the message was conveyed and you also came to know that anything the actor (Pankaj Tripathi) said in the argument was not just a part of a discussion but also a part of our ancient history.

This is really the right time to talk about this topic more openly with our younger generation. Mainly because, lack of knowledge creates fear and fear can lead to anger, hate, anxiety, and depression. And it is not at all easy for our young generation to cope with all this along with their studies and career-related stresses.

The producer has made this #Movie by learning from the mistakes instead of repeating them. Now you might want to know what those mistakes are.

Well, for some time now, makers have been repeatedly making fun of #religion and its #beliefs, as if they don't care. #Entertainment has its place, but if you misrepresent someone's religious beliefs and make fun of them, people are right to be angry with you.

But thankfully, this time the makers came up with a brilliant idea where no one is directly playing the role of the Supreme Lord Shiva. The lead actor (Akshay Kumar) is playing the character of God's favorite friend who comes to earth on the orders of God to help his devotee in his difficult time.
With this small change, the producer made such a beautiful film without causing any harm to religion and its faith. And then that important message which was shown in the film in our own pure Hindi language in a straight and simple manner without twisting it. However, some people have a habit of objecting to everything. But as far as I understand, there is nothing to object to in this film.
And this is why I am calling this movie a true #GEM

These are the 2 most important things due to which this film becomes better than any other religion-related film with a balanced and much-needed dose of social message and humor.
