Just a Regular Desk
Hello,
I was watching a movie called The Intern last night me just wanting to relax and see something good and there is this one part where Robert De Niro sees a big desk in the middle of the office covered in trash and old boxes. All the young workers there think they are very important so they walk past that mess every single day because they think cleaning is a job for someone lower than them but the old guy doesn't care about being the boss he just quietly starts cleaning it up without asking for a thank you he just does it. It made me think about how I act sometimes me realizing it is so easy to start thinking you are better than other people because of your job or what you know and we try so hard to look smart that we forget how to just be a regular person. We act like we are too big for small things or too good to talk to certain people and I realized that life is a lot more peaceful when you stop trying to be on top because when you stay on the same level as everyone else you actually see more. You don't need to be the most important person in the room to be happy me just being a person who helps out is enough.
Keep your feet on the street.
