Havoc (2025) — When all hell is let loose
I don't know if it is just me or does Tom Hardy just have a thing for violent movies? First it was Venom which was just brutal, next one I saw was Max Fury which wasn't any less, and now it's Havoc. The title says it all even without watching the film not to mention that Tom Hardy starred in the movie.
In this film Tom goes by the name Walker who is a cop. Apparently, a drug deal went wrong whereby the children of two powerful people get involved; one who is the son of a top politician and the other who is the son of a leader of an asian gangster group. One common thing the two children have in common is that they are both not in good relationship with their parents, and they both have single parents. Unfortunately, the son of the leader of the gangster gets murdered and the son of the politician gets wind up in the whole mess and is wrongly accused. This is where Walker steps in.

Coincidentally, Walker has got some history with the father of the guy that which was falsely labeled as the prime suspect and also an unreturned favor to pay back. This sets him into motion into investigating what really went down. Walker's investigative and cop instincts begin to play out. He also has a wife and a kid which he's not really in good relationship with but this was kind of a minor aspect of the film.
The film really bore an intense level of action. They really wrecked "havoc" in the movie. It just kept on getting tougher as the scenes rolled by. There were quite some scenes that some viewers may find to be too graphic. It also left me in suspense at some points because I wasn't sure anymore of what to expect next. The took quite a twist when it was discovered that the so-called presumed suspect was actually innocent, it was just a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
One aspect of the movie I really appreciate is how it reflects on some in the dark events that goes down in the police force and how possible to is to have dirty cops within. Today, we see innocent people who fall into the hands of people who are supposed to be the law all because of the of their own selfish gain and desires. But I felt the movie in a way felt short in the internal conflict. It's like it lacked consistency in some of the character roles.
Overall, Havoc did quite a fantastic job. I thought it to be a straightforward movie and not the type that contained series of unnecessary drags, but it seemed to have affected the ending because it seemed to have been too rushed. I give it a rating of 7/10.

This movie is good, it has good action even though the plot is more of the same, and Tom Hardy always looks good in those roles.
Said nothing but absolute truth bro. Thanks for your sharing your point of view
