🩷Princess Kaguya: A Legendary Tale🩷
Holaa querida comunidad de anime💫 sean todos bienvenidos a otras de mis reseñas💫 en esta oportunidad quiero compartirle mi opinión sobre una película muy enigmática de uno de mis estudios favoritos de anime, el estudio Ghibli esta película la ví cuando era pequeña, la estaban pasando en televisión y lo primero que me capturó fue su particularidad en la animación, estoy hablando de la Princesa Kaguya ❤️
The story begins when an elderly peasant couple find a tiny girl in a bamboo plant in a forest and decide to adopt her as their daughter. Over time, she grows into a beautiful woman who is desired by many men. However, her joy turns to sadness because she wants to be free, play, laugh, and not get married at an early age, the opposite of what her parents want.
La historia comienza cuando una pareja de ancianos campesinos encuentran en un bosque a una niña diminuta en una planta de bambú y deciden adoptarla como su hija, pasado el tiempo se convierte en una hermosa mujer la cual es pretendida por muchos hombres, no obstante su alegría se convierte en tristeza ya que ella quiere ser libre jugar, reír y no casarse a temprana edad todo lo contrario a lo que quieren sus padres.
As the beautiful girl grows up, her parents call her Kaguya for her incomparable beauty, in the countryside where she lives she meets Sutemaru, a boy who grew up with her with whom they develop a somewhat close relationship. Kaguya leaves the town where she grew up to go to the capital with her mother, who seeks to make her a noble and marry her off to a rich man, Kaguya has three suitors but due to pressure and refusing to marry them she rejects them, fleeing to the forest asking the moon to prevent any marriage since she wants to enjoy her life playing and laughing with her friends and family, to which the moon answers her prayer and tells her that when the night of the full moon comes it will come down and take her back.
A medida de que la hermosa niña crece , sus padres la llaman Kaguya por su incomparable belleza, en el campo donde ella vive conoce a Sutemaru un niño que creció a su lado con el cual desarrollan una relación algo estrecha. Kaguya deja el pueblo donde creció para irse a la capital con su madre, la cual busca convertirla en una noble y casarla con un hombre rico, kaguya tiene tres pretendientes pero por la presión y el negarse a casarse con ellos los rechaza huyendo al bosque pidiéndole a la luna que impida cualquier unión matrimonial ya que ella quiere disfrutar su vida jugando y riendo con sus amistades y familia, a lo que la luna atiende su plegaria y le dice que cuando llegue la noche de luna llena bajará y se la llevará de vuelta.
Kaguya scared and refusing to return to the divine part, confesses to her parents that the moon will come looking for her to which they prepare their house with weapons to protect her, however their efforts are in vain and Kaguya resigned implores the moon one more moment with her parents, it is granted and then covered in the divine mantle which makes her forget all the memories of the earth to remove all its impurities, since the divine beings of the moon considered the earth with certain impure objects and people with which Kaguya was in contact, so she is taken back to her home on the moon as a divinity leaving behind her friends, her parents and an unexplored love with Sutemaru (which as an adult marries and has a son, however he never forgot Kaguya and came to dream of her, I will not give more spoilers)
Kaguya asustada y negada a volver a la parte divina, le confiesa a sus padres que la luna vendrá a buscarla a lo que ellos preparan su casa con armas para protegerla, sin embargo sus esfuerzos son en vano y kaguya resignada le implora a la luna un momento más con sus padres, está se los concede y después la cubren en el manto divino lo que hace que se olvide de todas las memorias de la tierra para quitar toda sus impurezas, ya que los seres divinos de la luna consideraban a la tierra con ciertos objetos y personas impuras con los cuales kaguya estuvo en contacto, así que ella es llevada de vuelta a su hogar en la luna como divinidad dejando atrás a sus amigos, a sus padres y un amor inexplorado con sutemaru (el cual ya siendo adulto se casa y tiene un hijo, no obstante nunca olvidó a kaguya y llegó a soñar con ella,no daré más spoilers)
And so our wonderful film ended, I recommend it because it has a very nice story although a little complicated to understand when you see it for the first time as a child, however I saw it again as an adult and it touches on many topics such as important decisions, social pressure, forbidden teenage romances, freedom and the fight for it, among other things, I must admit that before I thought this film was made by a Chinese studio, because of the design of the simple drawings but they have their details I like that it is type with watercolors which makes it a little more delicate and visually entertaining, the soundtrack is a tremendous gem. The reception that this film had was simply wonderful, it even had several award nominations, more than most of them won, a few years have passed since its premiere and it continues to be a tremendous sensation and one of the classics of this iconic animation studio.
Y así terminó nuestra maravillosa película, yo la recomiendo porque tiene una historia muy linda aunque un poquito complicada de entender cuando la ves por primera vez siendo un niño, sin embargo me la volví a ver ya siendo adulta y toca muchos temas como son las decisiones importantes, la presión social, los romances adolescentes prohibidos, la libertad y la lucha por ella, entre otras cosas más, debo admitir que antes pensaba que esta película era hecha por algún estudio chino, por el diseño de los dibujos sencillos pero tienen sus detalles me gusta que es tipo con acuarelas lo que la hace un poquito más delicada y entretenida visualmente, la banda sonora es tremenda joyita. La recepción que tuvo esta película fue simplemente maravillosa llegó a tener varias nominaciones a premios, más de la mayoría los ganó, ya han pasado unos cuantos años de su estreno y sigue siendo tremenda sensación y uno de los clásicos de este icónico estudio de animación.
