Meet Usman//My Introductory Post

My name is Usman Yusuf Usman, but you can call me Mr. U.S.

I am from Nasarawa State, Nigeria. I attended Sunnah Nursery and Primary School in Akwanga, and later continued my education at Universal Basic Education School, also in Akwanga, for my secondary schooling. Since finishing secondary school, I have faced many challenges in life.

It all started from birth. When you are born into a large family, life can be tough. I was not among the lucky ones. I grew up in very difficult conditions with my parents, who constantly put pressure on me to survive each day. As the third born, my opinions were often overlooked. Growing up, I had to break many unhealthy habits and work hard to change my mindset for the better.

Life is not fair, and none of us are born equal. Many intelligent people never get the chance to showcase their talents or earn a decent living, simply because they were born in the wrong environment. We cannot choose where we are born, but what truly matters is how we shape our future.

My experience with poverty and poor living conditions has affected me more deeply than words can explain. Even though I wish to help those around me, I know I cannot carry their burdens forever. I hope one day the government will create an environment where everyone can thrive and provide for themselves. No one should have to suffer just to survive.

As the third child in my family, I am not comfortable with the suffering I see around me. My siblings and loved ones deserve better. They deserve to eat what they want, not just what we can afford.

Sometimes I wonder: will there come a day when I marry someone's daughter, only to subject her to unimaginable hardships, and then call that "taking responsibility"? Clearly, there is something wrong with that mindset — and I am aware of it.

I love reading and writing, so I decided to engage myself in loaders and offlloaders of timbers Here in Akwanga, Nasarawa state Nigeria, where I left after three years and join one of the best security company Abuja Nigeria . I have served different Hotels and houses, company as a security guard across Nigeria, but unfortunately, the pay is very low. Sometimes, I often spend my own money on feeding and there have been times when I had no money for food for an entire month. Realizing I couldn’t continue living like that, I began searching for other opportunities.

I worked as a security staff member in several hotels and also did laundry work. Eventually, I heard about Hive from my friend

@morentis. After hearing about it several times, I developed an interest. He taught me about it, and listening to his lessons was very inspiring.

Now, I am 33 years old and still striving to build a better life. Being the last child in my family, I don't want to be a burden to them. That’s why I am determined to find something meaningful for myself. I am very happy to be here and ready to give my best, because I truly believe this is where I belong.

I feel that a real life change is possible here. I always prayed for a chance to put down my experience about Security one day, and I thank God for bringing me this opportunity to make my dreams come true.
