Lockdown (Movie Review) | A Viral Disease That Change Man's Function

Logging into netflix to watch a particular movie and I saw this Nollywood based movie titled Lockdown brought back 2020 memories when we first heard of the viral disease called Corona Virus which cause a lot of havoc and brought fear to many. It was a year we cant forget easily like that but there is a controversial statement from the audience that this particular movies is not based on what they claim in the thriller. Had to check out the claim at first before diving into the movie, The thriller was talking about the first outbreak of Ebola in Nigeria which was around 2014 when a Liberian man by the name Patrick Sawyer brought it to Nigeria and it was curbed by a medical doctor here in Nigeria (Doctor Ameyo Adedavoh) but if I remember well, there was no lockdown in 2014.
Yet When I watched the Movie, It wasnt about the Ebola Virus but closely related to Corona Virus that happened 2years ago based on the story line, It all happened when A man came to Nigeria with the virus (He didnt know) but wasnt feeling too well and ask his driver to take him to a nearest hospital. A man with his best man also saved a gal who got into a hit and run accident, they took her to the same hospital, another lady who need a medical checkup evidence for her job interview also find herself in the same hospital. A courier and also a guy who won a lottery were present too, At a point I was like how come? Is that the only hospital available in the location, but a movie will always be a movie.
After they noticed the man illness, they had to contact the Nigerian Center For Disease Control and also lockdown the hospital with those within, it wasnt an easy decision because they faced a lot of challenges and those affected gave them a tough time especially the guy who won the lottery. One thing that look funny and also was not really right is the fact that they brought policemen to lockdown the hospital and also gave them instructions to shoot any victim that want to escape from the hospital and they also put snipers in different corners. That action really made me laugh, I was asking Why the snipers when they are not hardened criminals, they are use people who are so unlucky to be in the hospital at that particular moment.
During the lockdown, many things actually happened, I would love to talk about it one by one but that will make the post really long and it will be like I cast everything in the movie and make it less interesting for you to watch. You will want to know the drama within the movie and how interesting it is, Check it out on netflix
