Watching Nigerian Movies have been my thing right from the start even though it is weird to some people and anytime I told my friends I love watching nollywood among other movies especially on youtube, they always burst out laughing, even till day I still enjoy watching yoruba based movies. Is not like I don't watch other movies, I really do love korean's, bolloywood (especially action ones) and the rest but it depends on the kind of mood I'm in for the day. Not subscribing to Showmax has been a bad idea and I realise I missed a lot of interesting movies, I don't even think I will take that step for now but I came across this particular movie titled Wura (meaning Gold in english), I didn't even check out the trailer like I use to do but my spirit kind of move and I decided to search where I can download the movie from, It happens to be on 9jarock site but I have easy access on a telegram group where they upload the files even though it isn't complete yet, so I just download it from there.
The first scene really bring in a lot of questions and curiosity, because I saw a woman named Wura who burnt a lady (Tuminimu) in a site and later went home to shoot herself (suicide attempt), I was like how can a movie start like this, what really happened in this movie that will actually lead to this, it seems as if they really want to set that curiosity mood for all viewers. It all happens in a small town named Iperindo in Osun state, she happened to own a gold mine where the people of iperindo do work for her after making lot of promises to them that she will build houses for them but it was all lies, I actually didn't know what she use those money gained for if not for herself and her family, they actually see her as a wicked Iron lady. Unfortunately there was no Gold left at her mine so she planned to release all her workers without fulfilling her plans and that made everyone vex, Pa kuti who was the community leader try to calm them down and also had an issue with Wura.
He went to wash himself at the river and came across some Gold ore which he took, then went to see the iron lady just to show her and made an agreement that will benefit the whole community, He left a not at home as a hint to where he went, met the woman and propose some shares to all workers before he can show her the new Gold location, she pretend to agree and after reaching the new location, she killed the man while his brother was an eye witness, that was when her first issue started, she try to pretend all was well but unfortunately for her, one of her earrings dropped at the crime scene which her maid son picked up and also find out she was the one that killed the man, so he started threatening her and because he was too greedy, he hope to claim everything the woman worked for or he will leaked her secret

The main son was really a thorn in their flesh and every attempt to eliminate him failed and the more problem he caused, they try to drug him, put him in his mom house and set it on fire, he escaped and demanded for a huge sum of money, they set bomb in the suitcase and luckily for him, he wasn't the one that opened it and finally they were able to kill him but he leak out the secret before he gave up his ghost. The movie really have lot of up and down and really made me curious to know what will actually happen next, currently waiting for the next episode while I pray they should release the final episode on time because there are lot of question yet to be answered.
