Cine TV Contest #135 Favorite Movie Featuring a Mother. A short review on the movie; The Panic Room(2002)
Good day guys, I decided to participate in a the cinetv contest , favorite movie featuring a mother and I will be reviewing a movie titled the Panic Room(2002).
This movie is directed by David Fincher, it is a story of a mother who just separated from her husband and moved to a new apartment with her little daughter. It tells a story of a the unconditional love, strength and protective nature of a mother. How mothers can endanger themselves to protect their child at all cost.
It shows sacrifice, connection and bond between a mother and her child when faced with deadly situations.
Meg and Sarah, her daughter moved into a new apartment, an apartment that has a room built for safety by the previous owner, which is called the panic room. It was their first night at the building when they got attacked by three deadly thieves who came to steal a money left in safe, that's kept in the panic room.
When Meg saw this thieves she ran for safety at the panic room with her daughter, not knowing the thieves need a to access the safe in the panic room.

In this movie, Meg was extremely protective, took several risk because of her daughter . Sarah is diabetic. Meg in one of the scenes she took the risk of going to get a phone outside the panic room, so they could call for help outside, but the room was built in a way that is inaccessible to network and the major risk she took was going out of the panic room to get her daughters medication because Sarah was about to faint, she was getting weak and needed her insulin. Meg was able to throw the medication to her daughter , but was unable to get back into the panic room.
Her daughter was left inside the panic room with the two thieves, because they already killed one of their accomplice, who wasn't willing to go further the robbery.

When Meg was out of the panic room, separated from her daughter, she fought really hard and smart and made sure her daughter came out alive, Sarah and Meg had strong emotional ties that enabled them to fight together and till the end. She did all she had to do to shield her daughter from being harmed. Endangered herself to protect her daughter at all cost.
Meg made sacrifices as a mother, took risk and endangered her life for her daughter, this depicts the unconditionally love of a mother, the protective nature of a mother towards her child. It shows how a mother can put her life on the line to save her child.
In the movie, Meg depicts the attribute of a good mother, when faced with challenges, her actions, sacrifice, bond , protective instinct and unconditional love towards her daughter is worth emulating.
This movie featured a mother , the unconditional love of a mother and the sacrifices a mother is willing to take to protect her offspring. Which is well depicted in Sarah and Meg relationship. Mother and child relationship, bond and love.

I haven't seen this movie but from the plot, it is something I am very much interested in seeing. A mother's love is truly amazing and I will see how it was captured with everything else in this movie. Thank you for sharing.
