PLANE (2023): A VERY PREDICTABLE MOVIE, BUT YET ENJOYABLE.

I'm a huge fan of action thriller genre and also seeing Gerald Butler and Mike Colter in one movie , made me curious about this movie.
But this movie was really predictable, the suspense wasn't so intense, the character development was quite poor but the storyline/plot was good and realistic.
Regardless of the fact that this movie is very predictable, you can feel the emotions of the cast, their fear and cry, it was really intense and touchy.
The choice of character was a good one.
From the beginning to the end of this movie , there was intense action and the gun shooting scenes were really intriguing.

Here is a summary, the movie started with Gerald Butler known as Torrance Brodie , on a call with his daughter and heading for a security check, as a pilot, before taking off.
It was new year Eve day and the plane boared 14 passengers, including Mike Colter known as Louis Gaspare who was a prisoner charged for murder ,
He was one of the passengers carried by an officer and also handcuffed, because he was considered a dangerous person. Also some crew members.

Few minutes on board, a lightening strike took away their access to communicate, switched off their radios, and took off the power which left them with ten minutes to land or the plane would crash.
The pilot Torrance and his co-pilot tried their best to make landing possible.
They finally landed, lossing two people who died because they lossed their sit belt.

The plan landed in a dangerous environment, Torace had to look for a way to communicate to the airline,he went alongside with the prisoners, Gasper, who was ex military.
While trying bro communicate in an abandoned building, where he found an online telephone.
Torace was attacked by a a guy , Gasper rescued him and killed the bad guy.
Gasper and Torace, realized they were in a deadly territory , after seeing some evidence of kidnapped victims in the abandoned building, immediately they left to alert the passenger they left alone , before getting to the them , the militants were already on an operation to kidnap the passengers, so they had to lay low from a distance

Meanwhile,the airline company after getting the information sent from Torrance sent help to rescue the passengers, when they arrived they found a note on the plain, left by Torrance indicating that they were kidnapped and a location to the militant camp.
This was the beginning of the action, with massive guns and amazing techniques from Gasper and the other military guys .

Finally they conquered, Gasper didn't follow them , he ran with the bag of money he found with the military men, probably to start a life as a free man.
They found safety, conquered and all went to their family.

Plane is a short movie, Torannce performance as the captain of the plane was incredible, sacrificial and brave , he tried his possible best to save all the passengers, protected them genuinely and one of the shocking part was when he offered himself to distract the militants so the passengers can escape the bad territory.
Torrance played his role as perfectly, also the blend of being a soft guy and a tough man was great.

The choice of character in the movie plane is a perfect one
It's a great movie but not one that would stay in your memory for long.
I knew Plane was going to be an enjoyable movie, and it was enjoyable.
Good story line, I would rate this movie a 7/10.

Gerald Butler and Mike Colter made the action really solid and interesting.
