Unos padres desesperados por la pérdida de su pequeña hija en un pueblo al que fueron de vacaciones. ¿Acaso alguien pudiera desentenderse de una situación así? Difícilmente. Lo más probable es que apoyemos cada una de las acciones que tomen a lo largo de la película, especialmente porque su objetivo es muy noble: recuperar a su hija.

Este film me encantó por muchas razones. En ella ocurren muchas cosas que nos llevan a dudar de todo lo que va pasando, incluso pudiéramos llegar a encontrar culpables donde no los hay, o tal vez sí. No voy a revelar ningún detalle relevante de la película, porque deseo que la disfruten tanto como yo, pero sí puedo asegurarles de que, desde el principio y hasta el final, los mantendrá en suspenso y muy atentos a la pantalla.

En ella conoceremos varios personajes secundarios, quienes podrían ser los responsables de la pérdida de la niña, otros intentarán ayudar a encontrarla. Pero, a medida que se va desarrollando la historia, podrán conocer otros detalles que, aunque no tienen relación directa con la niña desaparecida, sí influye en la forma en la que verán tanto a los protagonistas como al resto de los personajes que intervienen en esta interesante historia.

Algo que me gusta mucho de la película es que muestra a unos padres muy preocupados por encontrar a su niña, lo cual los llevará a tomar grandes decisiones, las cuales no solo afectarán las posibilidades de que la niña esté nuevamente con ellos, sino en su propia vida.

También me encanta de este film, y por eso lo quiero compartir con todos ustedes, es que nos envuelve en la historia, por lo que, aunque no seamos nosotros los que tomemos las decisiones difíciles, sí que nos veremos involucrados a tener que evaluar esas medidas. Nos lleva a pensar en si estuvo bien o no lo que sucedió.

Al final, la película muestra un desenlace que a más de uno sorprenderá. Ese es otro de los detalles que amo en un film, que no sea más de lo mismo, sino que de vez en cuando presente algún giro inesperado y, al mismo tiempo, creíble.

Dentro de los detalles técnicos de la película podemos destacar sus principales actores, Anne Heche y Thomas Jane, quienes hacen el papel de los padres de la niña. También intervienen Aleksei Archer y Peter Facinelli, una pareja que se encontraba muy cerca de la familia, resultando los principales sospechosos por ello. Por cierto, este último también dirige el film. La labor del Sheriff la lleva a cabo Jason Patric, y, por último, el papel de la pequeña Taylor es responsabilidad de Sadie Helm. Cada uno de ellos ya cuenta con experiencia en la gran pantalla con varias películas en su historial.

Si te gusta el suspenso, la emoción, así como giros inesperados en una película, entonces no puedes dejar de ver “Sin rastro”. Si mal no recuerdo, he visto otras películas con ese mismo título o uno muy parecido, por lo que también puedes buscarla como "The Vanished". La música que acompaña el desarrollo de la historia funciona muy bien para añadir más emoción.

Desperate parents despair about the loss of their little daughter in a town where they went on vacation. Could anyone ignore such a situation? Hardly. Most likely we will support every single action they take throughout the film, especially because their goal is so noble: to get their daughter back.

I loved this film for many reasons. Many things happen in it that lead us to doubt everything that is going on, we could even get to find culprits where there are none, or maybe there are. I will not reveal any relevant details of the film, because I want you to enjoy it as much as I do, but I can assure you that, from the beginning to the end, it will keep you in suspense and very attentive to the screen.

In it we will meet several secondary characters, who could be responsible for the loss of the girl, others will try to help find her. But, as the story unfolds, you will learn other details that, although not directly related to the missing girl, do influence the way in which you will see both the protagonists and the rest of the roles involved in this interesting story.

Something I really like about the film is that it shows parents who are very concerned about finding their little girl, which will lead them to make big decisions, which will not only affect the chances of the girl being with them again, but in their own lives.

I also love this film, and that's why I want to share it with all of you, is that it involves us in the story, so even though we are not the ones making the tough decisions, we will be involved in having to evaluate those actions. It leads us to think about whether or not what happened was right or wrong.

In the end, the film shows a denouement that will surprise more than one. That is another of the details I love in a film, that it is not more of the same, but that from time to time it presents an unexpected and, at the same time, credible twist.
