Bawaal - Every Love Story Has Its Own War

Hi movie lovers...

Nowadays, while waiting my on going drama airing, I randomly watch a movie in online platform, prime video. I then looking for my list and found the movie that I have been looking for since airing in this platform. It was Bawaal, a movie that my favorite actor there, Varun Dhawan. I have been watched all Varun's movies but Bawaal, so I will not miss the boat.

I have never looking for sinopsis or trailer when I have craving to watch this movie. I just watched with no clue with a hope that my favorite actor will give me a satisfying story. So, let's get it!

Bawaal - A Story of Ajju and Nisha

Ajay Dixit a.ka Ajju is a history teacher in Lucknow. He is incompetent but he knows to handle it and make his image looks nice. One day he married Nisha by arranged. Nisha is a beautiful and intelligent girl. Ajju likes Nisha and Nisha likes Ajju.

At first, he is nice to Nisha cause she is perfect until he knows that Nisha has epilepsy. Nisha told Ajju that in 10th years it was not happened due Nisha take medicine regularly. Ajju think it was not a big deal until he saw how Nisha had a seizure on the wedding night. In their first day married, Ajju was changed. He never talks like a husband talking to his wife. He never taking Nisha to watching movies in cinema or do something the husband-wife doing. Ajju never let Nisha to go outside or working due he do not want peoples know about Epilepsy that Nisha had. Ajju is afraid that Nisha will have a seizure when she is outside and make her image suffer.

One day Nisha protested to Ajju about his behavior to her, but Ajju get angry and talks about her epilepsy. That fight had an impact in Ajju school and he make a mistake by slaps his student. That being a scandal and Ajju officially being in score. He not allowed to teach in one month.

To restore his image, Ajju has an idea to keep teach his student while in score. By chance, at that month his learning material is about World War II. So he arranged a plan to keep teach his student directly from the places where the world war occurred, namely in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Auschwitz. Ajju flight to Europe by fooling his father to financial him. His father agreed to support Ajju with one provision, it was brought Nisha alongside him. Nisha is happy to going to Europe but Ajju will not brought Nisha. He asked Nisha to go back her home and make any reason for it. Nisha upset about Ajju's talk then make decided to keep going to Europe due her parents-in-law allow it. Ajju has no choice.

In Paris, Ajju and Nisha travel apart due Ajju don't want to Nisha along his. But Ajju did not know that Nisha enjoying his trip and Ajju due his limited language he can not give a lesson to his student. Ajju then asking Nisha to along his and teach something with him. Nisha rejected his at first but end up alongside Ajju in the next day. Nisha then taught Ajju about how World War II happened in Paris. Nisha also helping Ajju as his translator. By all Nisha's help Ajju realize that his wife is clever than him. His feelings about Nisha then improve slowly. In Europe, Ajju learned about the what war was and even though the war wad end, it is not over for everyone, it is happend in his self, the war not end yet.

This trip make Ajju realize that he should grateful with what he has and never see what other has but he has not. By what Nisha said for his, Ajju then realize that he will not loss his perfect wife. Ajju then learned that even though Nisha has epilepsy, she still his beautiful and fearless wife and he should accepted as Nisha accepted his lack also.

It is important to not judging something by its cover. At first, I thought it would be romance story which would fulfilled by intime scene or kissing scene which is not too important so if you cut that scene it does not effect for the story. That thought based on Janhvi's appearances on this movies. Due all new actress would be do romance movies with sexual and intime scene, but this movie changed my point of view about Janhvi Kapoor (Nisha). In this movie she has not kissing scene or husband-wife scenes. This story delivered husband-wife scenes with different ways and I love it!

Bawaal in hindi means commotion, this story told us about how Ajay Dixit a.ka Ajju handling his commotion by fake situation. This story was light, deep message though. The message that I could capture by this movie is about how peoples were not satisfying with what they have, how peoples easy to created they own war in theirselves, and We should not being fake for other validation.

Then about the story of Ajju and Nisha is strong. Even though the story was light but how the filmmaker made this movie is new with focus on home life which is not always easy to do. Two peoples in one home, it is important to improved a communication, and this movie has been successful to delivered that story to me. There is no physical contact even though they are husband and wife. The language of love doesn't have to be channeled through intimate scenes.

I loved how the maker make up about epilepsy by their character. This fact make us realize that there is no people is perfect and we have to respect it!

Other message that I could captured on this movie is about women issues which is after marriage all women would lost their identity, their freedom to have their decision and opinion. Janhvi was delivered his character perfectly, I adore her. About Ajay a.ka Ajju, like another character in other movies, he is Varun Dhawan which is swell but soft in deep of his heart. But in this movies I loved Nisha more...

The last thing that I loved about this movie is setting. Almost all movies are in Europe which is my dream country, the place that I want to visited hardly. By this movie I have see other side of Europe, about The World War II which is part of that beautifulness. I missed Bollywood in beautiful place and this movie make it happened.
