Movie Review: War 2

Hi Movie lovers...
What movie do you watch nowadays?

Honestly, I'm not that into action movies, especially Indian ones. The fights between the hero and villain are always boring to me; they just keep fighting. But since this movie stars one of my favorite actors, I decided to watch it. Besides the main cast, I was also curious about the supporting cast. Yup, this is the second installment of the WAR franchise, released in 2019. The films share the same story, with the premise always being—we can't trust anyone but ourselves. Likewise, with Bollywood action movies, you'll find plot twists. Some will surprise you, and others will make you say, 'Oh, I already knew that.'

But okay, forget about that. I told you WAR 2 stars one of my favorite actors, and I'm curious about his performance. It's Hrithik Roshan, and you know the supporting cast? He's one of the biggest stars in Southern cinema, so yes, this movie is worth seeing in theaters.

WAR 2

War 2 does have a story connection to the first franchise, but the two films are very different. This second franchise still tells the story of an agent or spy named Kabir Dhaliwal who is trapped in a tight situation since he was deemed a traitor to the country. He continues to travel the world doing jobs like a hitman and the like. Until finally, he has no choice but to refuse an invitation to join a large and evil organization called Kalki. To prove his loyalty to Kalki, he must kill Captain Luthra, someone who has been helping him.

For killing Captain Luthra, Kabir becomes a national fugitive, and RA&W agents send Captain Vikram to hunt him down. A fight ensues between Vikram and Kabir, ultimately revealing their pasts.

There's no one you can trust in this World

First, I want to talk about the story of this second installment in the franchise, and it's far superior to the first. I preferred the story of this second installment; it had a clear flow and a well-organized plot. There were parts I could already predict, as I'm familiar with Bollywood action plots. Still, I have to commend the filmmakers for how they crafted this second installment, which unintentionally caught me off guard.

Furthermore, the villain in this second installment is equally compelling—both in terms of acting and character, with Kabir. So, it's an interesting combination.

I rate this film 3 out of 5 stars; Best story than before!!!
