I woke up this morning and It was still looking like the sun had not come up. I rolled over to check the time and saw it was around 9:30. After pulling the curtain back I noticed it was cloudy.

I am not sure why but it seems like every time I have a day like this I just do not want to do anything. In order to not fall behind on my daily posting I decided after I had breakfast I was going to watch a movie.

I feel like this movie picked me. I started to watch it and right from the beginning it had a Men In Black feel to it. It came out in 2013 though and was based off a comic book by the name of R.I.P.D.

It has a really good cast that includes Jeff Bridges as Roicephus, Ryan Reynolds as Nick Walker and Kevin Bacon as Bobby Hayes among others.

It may have had a Men In Black feel but it was more about the dead escaping "judgement". It is about an hour long and I am not sure I can tell much about it without giving too much of the plot away but it was hilarious, and a bit suspenseful.

The movie starts about "3 or 4 days" after the death of Nick. He introduces his partner and the world he has just entered then he cuts to the day of his death.

He is a police officer and during locker room conversation it is revealed that him and his partner took something from a crime scene. Nick was feeling guilty and wanted to turn it in.

News comes in that a suspect the department has been looking for has been found found and everyone rushes out. and this is where the action starts.

This is not a zombie movie. This is the transformation of the dead going into the afterlife and that they do not want to let go of the life. It is what the dead do to escape death.

I enjoyed this movie even though it had a 5.6 rating on IMDB and I recommend it if you are looking to wast a little time and have a good laugh.
