Du Zi Feng (played by Baron Chen) is the first character introduced. He is standing on a beach and has a flashback then starts talking to his father who went missing seven years prior.

We then flash to Pi Ya Nuo (played by Megan Lai) as a baby being held by her mother, Pi Mu (played by Wang Chuan) who is sitting next to Pi Pa (played by Tang Zhi Wei). When they tell the man they had a daughter instead of a son he tells them it is a bad omen but suggests they raise her as a boy until she reaches her twenty sixth birthday.

Flash forward to Pi Ya Nuo twenty five years later selling hot dogs out of a food truck. After selling some food her and her friend Liao Guang Chao (played by Johnny Yang) withness an attack on Zi Feng as he is driving by.

After helping Zi Feng, Ya Nuo is treated to a thank you meal and ends up swearing a brotherhood to Zi Feng. Other characters are introduced and the story progresses. It takes place in a 100 day time period shown by the Pi family as a count down calendar to when Nuo can return to being a girl.

Even though I am not a fan of modern drama's there are some good ones, like this one, out there that are worth watching. The thing that got my attention was the thumbnail showing a girl with her arm around a man but the word cross dress was in the caption. I thought to watch just a little, but ended up watching the whole thing. I thought the truth would be revealed near the beginning but I see that it could not be revealed so soon.

Zi Feng ends up falling in love with Nuo and has a hard time excepting it. All the while trying to protect her from the dangers that come with the territory of being a gangster.

Another plot I enjoyed was when Wei Qing Yang (played by Bi Shu Jin) met Yang Na Na (played by Katie Chen) while on a trip with Sis feng (played by Vickey Liu) and Du Zi Han (played by Mandy Tao) To visit the area where Du Guang Zhu (played by Tuo Chung Hua) disappeared.

The relationship between the characters was well portrayed. The cast did an awesome job. I highly recommend this drama. There was no emotional rollercoaster ride that other drama's are riddled with and it was funny with some serious parts right where they needed to be. I am not sure this review could do justice to this series but I hope anyone who reads this would take a chance and watch it. The episodes are a bit long but in the end I believe it is shorter then most series that go for upwards of thirty.

Great explanation of what you thought this. Although I'm not into foreign shows I thought you did a good job at explaining what you thought and how you perceived the events!
