Reality Show || Desafío 2023: The Box 3 [ES-ENG]
El Desafío The Box es un reality Show colombiano, donde muchos atletas compiten durante varios meses, enfrentando pruebas muy duras en diferentes fases del programa. En este momento se encuentra la edición 2023, la cual, también, es la 3ra entrega de la "ciudad de las cajas"(The Box). Anteriormente, se llevaba a cabo en muchas partes del mundo, desde la pandemia, el formato cambio y colocan a todos los participantes en un lugar neutro donde solo están viviendo los competidores y organizadores del evento.
El Desafío The Box is a Colombian reality show, where many athletes compete for several months, facing very hard tests in different phases of the program. It is currently in its 2023 edition, which is also the 3rd installment of the "city of the boxes" (The Box). Previously held in many parts of the world, since the pandemic, the format changed and placed all participants in a neutral place where only the competitors and organizers of the event are living.
Con este año han llegado a 19 años de emisión y el próximo sería su número 20. The Box 3 se está realizando en Bogotá, específicamente en una isla de Cundinamarca, y ha sido un lugar perfecto para todas las pruebas. Hoy 02/07/23 se encuentra a poco tiempo de finalizar, los competidores están viviendo las últimas etapas del desafío, cada semana hay un eliminado y al final quedan 2 campeones, hombre y mujer. Los ganadores del Desafío The Box 3, se van a llevar 1 millón 400 mil pesos colombianos.
The Box 3 is taking place in Bogota, specifically on an island in Cundinamarca, and has been a perfect place for all the tests. Today 02/07/23 is just a short time away from ending, the competitors are living the last stages of the challenge, each week there is one eliminated and at the end there are 2 champions, male and female. The winners of The Box 3 Challenge will win 1 million 400 thousand Colombian pesos.
Este año hubo 32 participantes, 16 hombres y 16 mujeres directamente. En años pasados, la elección se hacía de manera diferente, llegaban 60 o más participantes y el día inaugural se ganaban el puesto 32 participantes. Esto ha cambiado, ya son escogidos por parte de la organización del evento y teníamos a los competidores desde un principio. Son 4 equipos los que se forman, los cuales serían: La casa Gamma, Beta, Alpha y Omega. En cada equipo conformado, habrá 4 mujeres y 4 hombres.
Son 4 etapas la que pasan los participantes, quienes logren superar todas ellas, estarán compitiendo en la semifinal del evento y a un paso de la gran final. En la 1ra etapa, por supuesto, están los 4 equipos compitiendo, se elimina uno. Segunda etapa, tenemos 3 equipos y nuevamente se elimina uno y así sucesivamente hasta que lleguemos a 2 equipos antes de la semifinal. Cada semana van eliminando uno o 2 competidores y en finales de etapas realizan una prueba de capitanes y quien termine de último, pierde la bandera de su casa y el equipo queda eliminado.
Las pruebas son en 4 establecimientos diferentes, las cuales serían: Box de aire, contacto, tierra y agua. En cada pista sentencian a un competidor, cuando terminan todo el ciclo de las 4 pistas, viene la pista de la muerte y aquí es donde los competidores sentenciados se disputan su permanencia en el desafío. Claro, cada pista tiene sus condiciones, recompensas, castigos y situaciones que nunca dejan cómodo a los participantes perdedores. La meta siempre es ganar, porque de lo contrario, se convierte en un infierno la supervivencia en los equipos.
Cuando se inicia un ciclo, la primera prueba es para preservar los lujos de la casa, primer ganador retiene todo, segundo ganador puede escoger entre algún alimento, agua o luz y los otros 2 perdedores no tienen absolutamente nada. Cabe destacar que las casas deben ser costeadas, los equipos pagan un arriendo y el equipo que no tenga dinero para pagar debe ir a vivir afuera de las casas. El lugar es llamado "playa baja", no hay techo, no hay camas, solo tierra y estás ante las consecuencias de las lluvias y todo lo que la naturaleza les coloque en el camino.

In the 1st stage, of course, there are 4 teams competing, one is eliminated. Second stage, we have 3 teams and again one is eliminated and so on until we reach 2 teams before the semifinal. Each week one or 2 competitors are eliminated and at the end of each stage there is a test of captains and whoever finishes last, loses the flag of their house and the team is eliminated.
The tests are in 4 different establishments, which would be: Air, Contact, Ground and Water Box. In each track they sentence a competitor, when they finish the whole cycle of the 4 tracks, comes the track of death and this is where the sentenced competitors dispute their permanence in the challenge. Of course, each track has its conditions, rewards, punishments and situations that never leave the losing participants comfortable. The goal is always to win, because otherwise, survival in the teams becomes hell.
When a cycle starts, the first test is to preserve the luxuries of the house, first winner retains everything, second winner can choose between some food, water or light and the other 2 losers have absolutely nothing. It should be noted that the houses must be paid for, the teams pay a rent and the team that does not have money to pay must go live outside the houses. The place is called "low beach", there is no roof, no beds, just dirt and you are facing the consequences of the rains and everything that nature puts in their way.

En las pruebas de aire los competidores jamás pueden tocar el suelo, colocan obstáculos muy complejos y debes permanecer siempre arriba. Cuando es en tierra, suele ser con suelo muy pantanoso, arrastres, cargar peso, llevan una fuerte exigencia y la resistencia es primordial. En agua la gran parte es en una piscina, suele ser a relevo y la velocidad junto con la precisión es fundamental. La pista de contacto es de fortaleza, algunos competidores suelen lesionarse, pues los equipos miden fuerza y la concentración es clave.
Los formatos de las pistas son los mismos, pero las pruebas siempre son diferentes, no pueden acostumbrarse a nada, los atletas deberán ser completos y tienen que estar preparados para todo. Generalmente, suelen ir a competencia 5 o 6 competidores, los equipos deben escoger muy bien sus piezas y mandar a los más destacados de acuerdo a la pista donde hayan realizado un mejor desempeño. La prueba de sentencia no tiene ningún formato, aquí se espera cualquier cosa, no hay ventaja para nadie y el día de muerte cualquier situación puede ocurrir.
La prueba de capitanes es la más importante, los competidores que van a representar su casa, deben optar por un primer puesto, porque luego escogen a su nuevo equipo y tener la primera opción te garantiza organizar mejor tu nueva casa con integrantes fuertes. Recordando que el competidor que llega de último lugar, pierde la bandera de su casa, se desaparece el equipo y los integrantes deben esperar a que sean escogidos por un capitán que haya ganado en la prueba. El desafío de capitanes es el más exigente, se combinan las 4 pistas en una sola, tierra, agua, contacto y aire.
Todos los años el reality show está activo, trayendo gran entretenimiento, enamorando a muchos espectadores y sumando cada día nuevos amantes de este gran programa. Personalmente, lo recomiendo mucho, los competidores son atletas de alto rendimiento, las pruebas son muy duras, realmente es impresionante ver como superan todo y nunca se rinden. Hay ciclos donde equipos no comen absolutamente nada, en el desafío cada detalle debe ser ganado en las pruebas y por ello los equipos asumen el compromiso dando su mayor esfuerzo. The captains' test is the most important, the competitors who are going to represent their house, must opt for a first place, because then they choose their new team and having the first option guarantees you to better organize your new house with strong members. Remembering that the competitor who comes last, loses the flag of his house, the team disappears and the members must wait to be chosen by a captain who has won the challenge. The captain's challenge is the most demanding, combining the 4 tracks in one, land, water, contact and air.
Every year the reality show is active, bringing great entertainment, enamoring many viewers and adding every day new lovers of this great program. Personally, I highly recommend it, the competitors are high performance athletes, the tests are very hard, it is really impressive to see how they overcome everything and never give up. There are cycles where teams eat absolutely nothing, in the challenge every detail must be won in the tests and for that reason the teams assume the commitment giving their best effort. I have watched random episodes on youtube from past editions, I don't follow the reality show, only sometimes when I am exploring youtube I get the suggestion and watch old episodes or clips. There are hard tests that I couldn't do, what I like are some of the girls that participate, they are very attractive.
Indeed the tests are very very hard and also the contestants are very beautiful. It is a great reality show, the only one I consume and the truth is that I recommend it a lot. Regards

Esto lo tengo viendo desde hace años y siempre he sido fan. En lo personal este formato de la ciudad de las cajas no me gusta, me parece que las pruebas son muy repetitivas y fáciles diría yo. El ultimo fuera de Colombia fue en Republica Dominicana y ese si fue brutal durmiendo en un avión destartalado. El de la India también lo recuero mucho.
Pero bueno, este año lo estoy siguiendo y mira La Flaca me ha sorprendido mucho y Sensei es el capo, la mentalidad que tiene es de hierro. Veremos quien se lo lleva porque los que quedan son duros todos, bueno sin incluir a Sara jaja

Jeje Que bueno que también lo veas Bro, yo igualmente lo sigo desde hace años. El primero que vi fue cuando Angel quedó campeón, desde ese para acá no me he perdido ninguna edición. Y tienes razón que estás pruebas son más sencillas a temporadas anteriores y cuando se quedaban en el avión era una locura.
Mi favorita es Guajira, espero que pueda sacar a Cifuentes y también pienso que Sensei es el más capo de los hombres. Veremos qué pasa, ya falta poco para llegar a la final. La flaca es buenísima en aire, saludos amigo.
Hace muchos años lo veia pero deje de hacerlo cuando me di cuenta que no podia estar alla jaja, siempre me han gustado este tipo de desafios, no solo The box sino otros que tienen el mismo fin, retar la condicion fisica y mental de los participantes. Me habia desconectado de ellos no por lo que dije arriba realmente sino porque me ocupe y deje de verlo pero intentare echarle un ojo nuevamente.
Jaja a mí me gustaría estar hay, siento que es una experiencia increíble. Y si requiere mucha capacidad física y mental en enorme proporciones. Pasar mucho tiempo sin comer y sin comodidades es algo muy complicado de asimilar.
