“Clayface”, DC Comics taking new risks.
In a brief comparison with Marvel Studios, if there's one thing DC Comics likes to do (and that I, as a viewer, quite enjoy), it's taking new risks. Even if they are strategic risks, this desire to do something different from the usual is noticeable. Delivering "out-of-the-box" products is a unique characteristic, and that's exactly what will happen with Clayface. This will be the company's first horror movie, arriving later this year.
The time has come to "explore" a new alternative, and in the plot, we will follow (as expected) the origin story of the character Matt Hagen. He is an actor who is facing some turbulence and ends up suffering a knife attack that leaves his face disfigured. Undergoing experimental medical treatment (in an attempt to recover his appearance), what initially worked perfectly well will soon turn into a nightmare.
Hagen's body develops a specific ability: to transform into "living clay", capable of assuming the appearance of any human being. From this inflection point, the movie will take an approach that navigates between comic book stories and a horror tone that becomes challenging for the studio. Here we have a classic villain, whom we've seen in Batman comics, within a "raw", personal, and even somewhat "introspective" narrative.
Clayface is directed by James Watkins and stars Tom Rhys Harries. In the released trailer, we get our first impressions of the project, and the graphic aesthetic that can be seen is very interesting. Although it's just a small sample, it's noticeable that there's a sharp visual quality aspect. In parallel, it's also possible to notice the insertion of more violent scenes, which will certainly establish the darker and more brutal tone of this new adventure.

Incluso si se trata de riesgos estratégicos, este deseo de hacer algo diferente a lo habitual es evidente. Ofrecer productos “fuera de la cuerva” es una característica única, y eso es precisamente lo que sucederá con Clayface. Esta será la primera película de terror de la compañía, que se estrenará a finales de este año.
Ha llegado el momento de “explorar” una nueva alternativa, y en la trama seguiremos (como era de esperar) la historia de origen del personaje Matt Hagen. Es un actor que atraviesa una crisis y termina sufriendo un ataque con arma blanca que le desfigura el rostro. Sometido a un tratamiento médico experimental (en un intento por recuperar su apariencia), lo que inicialmente funcionó a la perfección pronto se convertirá en una pesadilla.
El cuerpo de Hagen desarrolla una habilidad específica: transformarse en "arcilla viviente", capaz de adoptar la apariencia de cualquier ser humano. A partir de este punto de inflexión, la película adoptará un enfoque que transita entre las historias de cómics y un tono de terror que supone un reto para el estudio. Aquí tenemos a un villano clásico, que hemos visto en los cómics de Batman, dentro de una narrativa “cruda”, personal e incluso algo “introspectiva”.
Clayface está dirigida por James Watkins y protagonizada por Tom Rhys Harries. En el tráiler publicado, obtenemos nuestras primeras impresiones del proyecto, y la estética gráfica que se aprecia es muy interesante. Aunque se trata solo de una pequeña muestra, se nota una gran calidad visual. Paralelamente, también se puede apreciar la inclusión de escenas más violentas, que sin duda establecerán el tono más oscuro y brutal de esta nueva aventura.

Ainda que sejam riscos estratégicos, é notável essa vontade de fazer algo diferente do habitual. Entregar produtos “fora da curva” é uma característica única, e é exatamente isso o que vai acontecer com Cara-De-Barro. Esse será o primeiro filme de horror produzido pela empresa, que chega ainda este ano.
Chegou a hora de “explorar” uma alternativa nova, e na trama, nós vamos acompanhar (como já é esperado) a história de origem do personagem Matt Hagen. Ele é um ator que está enfrentando algumas turbulências e acaba sofrendo um ataque à faca que deixa o seu rosto desfigurado. Sendo submetido a um tratamento médico experimental (na tentativa de recuperar à sua aparência), o que inicialmente funcionou perfeitamente bem logo se transformará em um pesadelo.
O corpo de Hagen desenvolve uma habilidade específica: se transformar em “argila viva”; capaz de assumir a aparência de qualquer ser humano. A partir desse ponto de inflexão, o filme trará uma abordagem que navegará entre as histórias em quadrinhos e o tom de horror que se torna algo desafiador para o estúdio. Temos aqui um vilão clássico, que vimos nas histórias em quadrinhos do Batman, dentro de uma narrativa “crua”, pessoal e até um tanto quanto “introspectiva”.
Cara-De-Barro é dirigido por James Watkins e traz Tom Rhys Harries como protagonista. No trailer divulgado, temos as primeiras impressões do projeto, e a estética gráfica que pode ser vista é algo muito interessante. Embora seja apenas uma pequena amostra, é notável que há um aspecto visual de qualidade afiada. Em paralelo, é possível notar também as inserções de cenas mais violentas, que certamente estabelecerão o tom mais sombrio e brutal dessa nova aventura.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone
I've been labelled a lot of things on Hive 😂 by the biggest farmers scammers and downvoters
