RE: MOVIE REVIEW: “The Runner” (2026)

This movie feels like a female version of Crank starring Jason Statham.

I haven't seen this one yet. However, it's more "believable" (up to a certain point) to see Jason Statham in this type of movie than Gal Gadot.

The concept seems absurd. Not believable or realistic.

I don't think the concept itself is all that absurd, but rather the intensity with which it was applied within the narrative. That ended up stripping the plot of its sense of realism.
