I love horror movies, and maybe I didn't like this movie (so much) because of its overly "romantic" approach.
However, it's a good movie anyway.

That's the problem. Sleepy Hollow is not just horror and romance, it also has mystery, drama, and even action. If you're just looking for the typical "Aaaaaah! How scary!" kind of horror, you won't find it here. This film disturbs you, makes you think, and entertains you also.
Precisely because I watched this movie many years ago, I have to watch it again (with a different mindset).
I like to do this with movies where I believe I need to have a fresh perspective.
Yes... I grew up watching it and my perspective is completely different from most people's. It's always good to revisit a good film, especially if it's by Tim Burton.
That's one of the "magical" things that cinema does.
Yes... although I didn't know how disturbing it was until I saw it again not too long ago. For that, you have to pay close attention to the details you see in this movie.
Yes, I remember some pretty "unusual" details (let's put it this way). Certainly, my opinion about the movie will change... Haha!
