Malicious stepmother.
I happened to watch a movie today after ages. "Cinderella 2021" is the name. It got me hooked on my screen. From the start to the finish was just amazing. It was the normal Cinderella story we all know but with humans and not cartoon characters.
The maliciousness of Cinderella's step mother never gets old. She just didn't like Cinderella and felt that Cinderella was inferior to her and her daughters. Cinderella's father married the woman after her first husband had died and guess what?! The man died too. Probably she was too malicious to stay with anyone.

The stepmother treated Cinderella with utmost disdain and maliciousness. She told Cinderella that she would never be the designer she wanted to be and a whole lot of cruel things. She even betrothed Cinderella to a man that Cinderella didn't want to marry. It was a clear display of maliciousness.
The whole singing and pimp they added to the movie was wow!. I recall laughing at certain points. It is a classic fairytale, fantasy and comedy kinda movie. I learnt that it was directed by kay cannon from pitch perfect and actors like Camila cabello(Cinderella), Billy porter, Idina Menzel, Nicholas Galitzine were starred in the movie.

The prince, the queen, the king, the princess, the step mother and all the other characters played their roles very well. The way they sang and pitched was just divine apart from (whispers, the king of course). He was terrible, hahaha, but that was the whole point cause me hearing him sing was one of the highlights for me in the movie.
The movie is a must watch. Trust me it's worth the stress. But it's yet another fairytale. If only they come true.

Cinderella's story is popular. I don't know of this human version of it, but it's all good.
