Movie review: Day Shift

Movies! movies! movies! One thing with me is that movies don't keep me that long. I always fall asleep and the fact is, the smaller the screen, the faster I sleep. But guess what? A movie kept me up yesterday night.

I take my night sleep very seriously and whenever it's past 10pm, I avoid movies because they are like sleep pills but yesterday was different. I watched a movie for over an hour and thirty minutes. That was incredible. I slept by past 12am and trust me I slept feeling very fulfilled.

Funny fact is that the name of the movie Is 'day shift'. The whole plot twist was incredible. I got to learn new facts too. At least I learnt that vampires have come up with a new formula that allows them to stay in the sun for about twenty minutes. Say what?! I was surprised too.

Normally, vampires burn immediately when they come in contact with the sun but these vampires were operating in the daytime. That was just one of the incredible discoveries I found out from the movie.

The movie 'day shift' is definitely a blockbuster movie for me. It's directed by J. J Perry. The director definitely deserves some accolades. He did a good job directing the movie.

The movie is started by actors like: Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, Meagan Good and Karla Souza.

In summary, a father who is a vampire hunter uses the tag 'pool cleaner' to cover up his tracks. In the process, he messed with the wrong vampires and that's when the plot twist began.

The vampires seeked revenge and the father fought with all his might to keep his family safe. Did he succeed? I'd let you find out by yourself. All I can say is that the actors played out all their roles perfectly.

This movie is an amazing fantasy/ comedy movie and I recommend it for anyone who's looking to learn something new as they laugh away their sorrows.
