Now king of boys is a movie I set my eyes on recently. First, I don't like watching seasonal movies. Why keep me in suspense for so long. I prefer watching movies and finishing them on the spot. Some seasonal movies take a year to come up with the next season… why?!

Second, I never really liked watching Nigerian movies, judging from the fact that the movie quality was somewhat bad and the scenes became quite predictable. C'mon, I'd love to watch a movie where I can't predict the next scene. "A king comes from the city and is looking for a wife, he takes and hears a voice from the bush. He finds the voice and falls in love with the poor bush girl. They get married and live happily ever after". Now that's what I was talking about,but that was in the past.

Nollywood has begun making waves in the movie industry and that's amazing. King of boys is one of their recent inventions

Hearing 'king' and 'boys', one's mind would be taken to a man but let me burst your bubbles. The king of boys tells a story of a very powerful woman, Eniola salami ( Sola Sobowale), who went on exile because she was falsely accused of killing her children. She returned more powerful and decided to claim a powerful role. She had all the powerful government officials at the top of her fingers and she could always maneuver them.

The movie stars actors like Sola Sobowale, Adesua Etomi-willington, Toni Tones, Reminisce ( a Nigerian artist), Illbliss (a Nigerian rapper), Nse Ikpe Etim,RMD, Charly boy, to mention but a few. My favorite character after Eniola Salami, is Ade Tiger. He's just amazing. He acted the role of Eniola's loyal servant. P:s he was so hot and fine, lol.

The movie got the 'African Movie Academy Award' (AMAA) for the year 2019 as it was released on 20th October,2018. The first episode came out in 2018, but the other episodes came out this year. It's a very intriguing movie that I'd readily recommend for anyone. King of boys has changed my view towards seasonal movies, I hope the view remains the same.

Your view towards the movie may not be the same as mine. Views differ, but at least it's worth the mb's and the try. You could always access it on Netflix. Enjoy.
