🙋‍♀️ ‍ ‍¡Hola gente bonita amante de las películas y series!. Espero que se encuentre bien, que sus días vayan de maravilla, por este lado de la pantalla nos encontramos muy bien y feliz de estar una vez más en esta gran comunidad.

En esta ocasión les vengo a compartir una película de animación dirigida por Han Ji-won estrenada en Netflix del año 2025, la cual es la primera película animada original coreana estrenada en esta plataforma. Llena de drama, romance, aventura y un gran toque futurista; en donde nos regalan una linda historia de amor que enfrenta la distancia y el tiempo. Sin más preámbulos...

Synopsis

Nan-young is an aerospace engineer and astronaut whose purpose in life is to explore the red planet (Mars) in the hope of finding her mother who was also an astronaut. On the other hand, we have Jay, who is a musician who has given up his dreams and works in a vintage audio equipment store. And although they seem totally different lives, they manage to meet in an unexpected way and thanks to a record player inherited from Nan-young, which needs to be repaired and Jay is the right one for this job. However, in the process of repairing it, they share time together creating a deep and very emotional connection; finding inspiration in each other to achieve their dreams, she to return to space and he to resume his musical career. They both face the challenge of having the longest long distance relationship.

Sipnosis

Nan-young es una ingeniera aeroespacial y astronauta que tiene como propósito en su vida explorar el planeta rojo (Marte) todo esto con la esperanza de encontrar a su madre que también era astronauta. Por otro lado, tenemos a Jay, que es un músico que ha renunciado a sus sueños y trabaja en una tienda de equipos de audio antiguo. Y aunque parecen vidas totalmente diferentes, logran encontrarse de una forma inesperada y gracias a un tocadisco heredado de Nan-young, el cual necesita reparar y Jay es el indicado para este trabajo. Sin embargo, en el proceso de la reparación comparten tiempo juntos creando una profunda y muy emotiva conexión; encontrando inspiración el uno en el otro para así lograr sus sueños, ella para volver al espacio y él para retomar su carrera musical. Ambos les toca enfrentar el desafío de tener la relación a distancia más larga.

My humble opinion

It really is an animated movie that I loved, it is one of those that I would watch again. Although the aesthetics of the animation looks like one of the Atlantis movie that was released more than 20 years ago, I feel that it is still very well done, each scene is full of details both futuristic and “old” making a spectacular mix. The way their story unfolds together is beautiful, it's full of moments that make you laugh and fall in love with this couple; it's not only their love story, it's also the way they support each other to achieve their dreams. We also find important themes such as the way we process grief for the loss of a loved one, we see it reflected in Nan-young and his father who have handled it in different ways, the professional pressure from Jay as he is a musician but does not dare to take it up again and Nan-young who just wants to go to Mars, he strives hard to achieve it.

Mi humilde opinión

Realmente es una película animada que me encanto, es una de esas que volvería a ver. A pesar que la estética de la animación parece una como las de la película Atlantis que se estreno hace más de 20 años, siento que de igual manera esta muy bien hecha, cada escena esta llena de detalles tanto futuristas como "antiguos" haciendo una mezcla espectacular. La forma en que se desarrolla su historia juntos, es preciosa, esta llena de momentos que te hacen reír y enamorarte de este par; no solo es su historia de amor, es también la manera en que se apoyan mutuamente para lograr sus sueños. También encontramos temas importantes como la manera en que procesamos el duelo por la pérdida de un ser querido, lo vemos reflejado en Nan-young y su padre que lo han manejado de formas diferentes, la presión profesional por parte de Jay ya que el es músico pero no se atreve a retomarlo y de Nan-young que solo quiere ir a Marte, se esfuerza mucho para lograrlo.
