Synopsis
Bora Deborah begins with the seemingly perfect life of writer Yeon Bo ra (Yoo in Na), who works under the pseudonym Deborah. She, besides being a dating coach, also wrote a book that became popular, because in it she tells about relationships, advice and others, which make the public connect and sympathize with it, because in a world where looking for love has become secondary, since between work and get ahead with the expenses of daily life, it has made impossible the need to find love, taking this opportunity to be addressed in her story.
But, on the contrary to what she tells in her book, she is waiting for her boyfriend Roh Ju-wan (Hwang Chan-sung) to take the next step: the marriage proposal, because, according to her, their current relationship is solid, which was not true, well at least for him. On the other hand, we have Lee Su-hyeok, (Yoon Hyun-min) who doesn't like Deborah, for the simple fact that he thinks he knows everything about love and relationships and instead of giving his opinion about others, he should focus on his own relationship. Here we see two sides of the coin, one where she is willing to give her all and be honest with her feelings, while the other prefers to take her time and be reserved with what she feels.
Two people, where one thinks they would never get involved in life, but unexpectedly it happens. Following the thread of the story, Deborah was anxious, believing that her boyfriend would ask for her hand, which didn't happen and ended up disappointing her, but she doesn't give up, sending hints so that he would notice (Never do this, interest should be shown on both sides). As for our protagonist, despite not agreeing with what is written in Deborah's book, he plans to take the first step in his relationship with his girlfriend and buys the ring that Deborah had liked from the beginning, well yes, they met in a jewelry store, where she was looking at a ring and that, in the end, he is the one who ends up buying it, interesting isn't it?
Lee Su-hyeok, despite not being a man so expressive with his feelings, dares to propose to his girlfriend, however, she has other plans that night, where she ends their relationship, because to her, he seems not to be interested in their relationship, to which he accepts and doesn't fight to try to save her. Continuing with Deborah, at the publishing house where Su-hyeok works, her boss Han Sang-jin (Joo Sang-wook) wanted to hire her, but she ends up overhearing an unpleasant conversation between the two, more because of Lee's comments; however, they and Deborah and her friend Lee You-jung (Park So-jin) go on a date together, in that Deborah and Su-yeok are left talking alone, where by accident their cell phones are exchanged, fact that makes him leave after her.
Deborah was on her way to where her boyfriend lived, an event that led her to an unpleasant scene, because he was kissing another woman; this destroys her, and Su-yeok witnesses all this fact, and only walks behind her, to make sure she was okay, but ends up discovering it. All this affects her considerably, both in her personal and work life, however, after hitting rock bottom, she decides to move forward and make the most of this breakup, so she takes up writing again and yes, she does it at Lee Su-hyeok's publishing house. Both of them start to know each other in many ways and move forward in different ways regarding their breakups, achieving a different ending in their book or, rather, in their own story.
Personal opinion
Many melancholic, comical, embarrassing and romantic scenes flow in this drama, where you will be made to understand each character and how difficult is the process of breaking a relationship, coping with disappointment and moving on despite past events. Lee Su-yeok sees many facets of Deborah, most of them extremely shameful, even I felt sorry for her, but as many say, if that person saw all your imperfections, and despite everything still loves you, that's where you should be. Both managed to move forward and change for the better, they did not leave their essence, but received from each other, the support they needed; neither of them extinguished the light of the other, rather they complemented each other and shone individually.
It may have many somewhat dramatic scenes, where she leaves aside her dignity, where she ends up faltering many times, but it is a drama that clearly reflects the process of breaking up and how hard it is to get out of the bottom, to touch the ground as they say; and best of all, is that it approaches it from different points of view, as each one carries that feeling differently. Series that leaves you many phrases to reflect and that no relationship is perfect, everyone has their ups and downs, that communication and interest are the key for everything to flow. With a perfect ending and the interesting thing is that the meeting in their jewelry store was not the first time; an important fact that allows us to understand even more the development of future feelings.
A series where the actors have good chemistry that makes you connect, with a background so real and close that most people experience and that makes you understand that many times crying and showing your feelings is not a bad thing, it is just a step to overcome; that everything bitter that happens to you in life is an opportunity to appreciate the good that comes and that, as simple as they may seem, they are a gift, a gift that will help you progress in every possible way. One understood what it is to love, while the other understood what it is to love himself.

La verdad no he pasado por un proceso de ruptura, pero muchas veces nos sentimos como la protagonista principal, donde hemos tocado fondo y ver que el mundo no ha cambiado, más bien, el que termina cambiando es uno. A la actriz principal ya la había visto en otros trabajos, por eso me motivé a verla, más otros videos en Facebook que lograron por terminar de captar mi atención, espero a ustedes también.

Bora Deborah inicia con la aparente vida perfecta de la escritora Yeon Bo ra (Yoo in Na), quien trabaja bajo el seudónimo de Deborah. Ella, además de ser entrenadora de citas, también escribió un libro que se volvió popular, pues en él se relata sobre las relaciones de pareja, consejos y demás, que logran que el público conecte y simpatice con la misma, pues en un mundo donde buscar a pasado en segundo plano, ya que entre el trabajo y salir adelante con los gastos de la vida diaria, ha imposibilitado esa necesidad de encontrar el amor, aprovechando esta oportunidad para ser abordado en su historia.
Pero, todo lo contrario en referencia a lo que relata en su libro, ella esta a la espera de que su novio Roh Ju-wan (Hwang Chan-sung) de el siguiente paso: la propuesta de matrimonio, pues, según ella, la relación que tienen actualmente es sólida, cosa que no era cierta, bueno por lo menos para él. En contraparte, tenemos a Lee Su-hyeok, (Yoon Hyun-min) quién no le gusta a Deborah, por el simple hecho de que cree que sabe todo sobre el amor y las relaciones y en vez de estar opinando sobre los demás, debería enfocarse en su propia relación. Aquí vemos dos caras de la moneda, una donde está dispuesta a entregarse a todo y ser honesta con sus sentimientos, mientras que el otro prefiere darse el tiempo y ser reservado con lo que siente.
Dos personas, en donde uno piensa que nunca se involucrarían en la vida, pero inesperadamente sucede. Siguiendo el hilo de la historia, Deborah estaba ansiosa, creyendo que su novio le pediría la mano, cosa que no sucedió y terminó decepcionándola, pero no se rinde, mandando indirectas para que el se diera cuenta. (Nunca hagan esto, el interés debe mostrarse en ambos bandos). En cuanto a nuestro protagonista, a pesar de no estar de acuerdo con lo escrito en el libro de Deborah, planea dar el primer paso en su relación con su novia y compra el anillo que Deborah le había gustado desde un principio, pues si, se encontraron en una joyería, donde ella estaba mirando un anillo y que, al final, él es quien termina comprándolo, interesante ¿no?
Lee Su-hyeok, a pesar de no ser un hombre tan expresivo con sus sentimientos, se atrevió a pedirle matrimonio a su novia, más, sin embargo, ella tenía otros planes esa noche, en donde da por finalizado su relación, porque para ella, él parecía no estar interesado en la misma, a lo que el acepta y no lucha por tratar de salvarla. Continuando con Deborah, en la editorial que Su-hyeok trabaja, su jefe Han Sang-jin (Joo Sang-wook) deseaba contratarla, pero ella termina escuchando una conversación no agradable entre los dos, más por parte de los comentarios de Lee; sin embargo, tanto ellos como Deborah y su amiga Lee You-jung (Park So-jin) salen juntos a una cita, en eso Deborah y Su-yeok quedan hablando solos, donde por accidente sus celulares son intercambiados, hecho que hace que él salga detrás de ella.
Deborah se dirigía a donde vivía su novio, suceso que la llevo a una escena desagradable, pues el mismo se encontraba besando a otra mujer; esto la destroza, y Su-yeok presencia todo este hecho, y solo camina detrás de ella, para asegurarse de que estuviera bien, pero termina descubriéndolo. Todo esto la afecta considerablemente, tanto en su vida personal y como laboral, sin embargo, después de tocar fondo, decide salir adelante y sacar provecho de esa ruptura, por lo que retoma a la escritura y si, lo hace en la editorial de Lee Su-hyeok. Ambos empiezan a conocerse de muchas formas y avanzar de manera distinta, con referente a sus rupturas, logrando tener un final distinto en su libro o, mejor dicho, en su propia historia.
Opinión personal
Muchas escenas melancólicas, cómicas, vergonzosas y románticas fluyen en este drama, donde te harán entender cada personaje y lo difícil que es el proceso de romper una relación, de sobrellevar una decepción y salir adelante a pesar de los acontecimientos pasados. Lee Su-yeok ve muchas facetas de Deborah, en la mayoría sumamente vergonzosas, hasta a mí me dio pena, pero como dicen muchos, si esa persona vio todas tus imperfecciones, y a pesar de todo te sigue amando, ahí es donde debes estar. Ambos lograron avanzar y cambiar para bien, no dejaron su esencia, sino que recibieron de cada uno, el apoyo que necesitaban; ninguno apago la luz de otro, más bien se complementaron y brillaron individualmente.
Puede que tenga muchas escenas un tanto dramáticas, donde ella deja de un lado su dignidad, donde termina flaqueando muchas veces, pero es un drama que refleja claramente ese proceso de ruptura y lo arduo que es salir del fondo, tocar tierra como dicen; y lo mejor de todo, es que lo aborda de diferentes puntos de vistas, ya que cada uno conlleva ese sentimiento de manera distinta. Serie que te deja muchas frases que reflexionar y que ninguna relación es perfecta, todos tienen sus altibajos, que la comunicación y el interés son la clave para que todo fluya. Con un final perfecto y lo interesante es que el encuentro en su joyería, no era la primera vez; hecho importante que permite entender más aun el desarrollo de los sentimientos futuros.
Serie donde sus actores poseen buena química que te llegan a conectar, con un trasfondo tan real y cercano que la mayoría experimenta y que te da a entender que muchas veces llorar y mostrar tus sentimientos no es algo malo, es solo un paso para superarte; que todo lo amargo que te suceda en la vida, es una oportunidad para apreciar lo bueno que viene y que, por más simple que parezcan son un regalo, regalo que te ayudara a progresar en todas las formas posibles. Uno entendió lo que es amar, mientras que el otro comprendió lo que es amarse, asimismo.

La estoy viendo desde hace un mes, pero voy aún en el capítulo 04 no he avanzado más de ahí. Realmente no soy fan de la protagonista, pero el argumento es envolvente en cierta forma: escribe y critica a las parejas.
Al principio se vuelve tedioso, más por la actitudes de ellas, pero su evolución te sorprendera.😊
