Greetings Movies & TVshows community, taking advantage that Halloween is just around the corner, I want to share my review of the kdrama Happiness, as far as it is a good series and shows the reality about the attitudes that people adopt when facing the uncertainty of being locked up and the ignorance of what could happen with this event.

Synopsis
The series takes us to a post Covid scenario, where emergency health measures have been reduced. However, a series of strange events begins, where some people show signs of a highly contagious virus, one of its main symptoms being an extreme thirst that is only quenched when the carrier bites and drinks the blood of another uninfected person.
The plot focuses on the main characters Yoon Soe-bom (Han Hyo-joo) and Jung Yi-hyun (Park Hyung-sik), two high school friends who met under unusual circumstances. Following the onset of a new virus, Sae-bom ends up getting infected with it, but he doesn't show any symptoms, a fact that will be important in the story.
Both friends end up getting married and everyone wonders, "Already? from the beginning? And it is that our protagonist is presented with the opportunity to acquire her own apartment in a new residential area. Anyway, they start living in this place, where the social distinction is very marked and that will bring them problems later on.
Shortly after moving in, the pandemic of this crazy virus breaks out, bringing out new contingency measures by the government. This causes the entire apartment complex to be isolated from the outside world, unleashing chaos within these spaces, where people will have to deal with the confinement and lack of supplies to survive, in addition to a virus lurking. Will our protagonists manage to escape unscathed from all this chaos? What is the background of this mysterious virus? And what will be the origin of it?
Personal opinion
Happiness is a drama with a well-executed background that does not stray from reality, without exaggerating or minimizing it. Although, I must admit that the last few chapters if felt rushed plot twists, it doesn't fail to grab you. Taking advantage of the post-pandemic events, it brought us a story that is framed in those experiences of health measures and the actions of people in front of them.
Issues such as corruption and social class discrimination are addressed in the story; the pressure of being locked up and unaware of upcoming events, comes to bring out the best or worst in everyone. A series that will make you question who are the real monsters, the infected or the healthy?
A drama full of suspense, intrigue and action, with incredible character performances that more than one of you will either love or hate. You won't see zombies everywhere, but wanting to know what will happen next and the mysteries that intertwine, will keep you hooked, and if you thought your neighbors were annoying and the worst, you'll get to know the ones in this story. A thriller with a touch of romance where you can hang out.

Sinopsis
La serie nos traslada a un escenario post Covid, donde las medidas de emergencia sanitaria han disminuido. Pero, se da inicio a una serie de acontecimientos extraños, donde algunas personas presentas indicios de un virus sumamente contagioso, siendo uno de sus principales síntomas una sed extrema que, solo se calma cuando el portador muerde y bebe la sangre de otra persona no infectada.
La trama nos centra en los protagonistas Yoon Soe-bom (Han Hyo-joo) y a Jung Yi-hyun (Park Hyung-sik) dos amigos de secundaria que se conocieron bajo circunstancias poco comunes. Consiguiente a este inicio de un nuevo virus, Sae-bom termina infectándose del mismo, sin embargo, no presenta ningún síntoma, hecho que será importante dentro de la trama.
Ambos amigos terminan casándose y todos se preguntarán ¿ya? ¿desde el comienzo? Y es que a nuestra protagonista se le presenta la oportunidad de adquirir un departamento propio en una zona residencial nueva. En fin, ellos empiezan a vivir en este lugar, donde la distinción social está muy marcada y que les traerá problemas más adelante.
Al poco tiempo de mudarse, se desata la pandemia de este virus loco, aflorando nuevas medidas de contingencia por parte del gobierno. Esto hace que todo el complejo departamental quede aislado del mundo exterior, desatando el caos dentro de esos espacios, donde las personas tendrán que lidiar con el encierro y la falta de suministro para sobrevivir, además de un virus asechando. ¿Lograrán nuestros protagonistas salir ilesos de todo este caos? ¿Qué trasfondo guardará este misterioso virus? y ¿Cuál será el origen del mismo?
Opinión personal
Happiness es un drama con un trasfondo bien ejecutado y que no se aleja de la realidad, sin exagerar ni minimizarlos. Aunque, debo admitir que los últimos capítulos si sintió apresurado los giros argumentales, no deja de atraparte. Aprovechando los eventos post pandemia, nos trajo una historia que se enmarca en esas vivencias de medidas sanitarias y el actuar de las personas frente a las mismas.
Temas como la corrupción y la discriminación de clases sociales son abordadas en la historia; esa presión de estar encerrados y con el desconocimiento de sucesos próximos, llega a sacar lo mejor o peor de cada uno. Una serie que te hará cuestionarte quienes son los verdaderos monstruos ¿Los infectados o los sanos?
Un drama lleno de suspenso, intriga y acción, con increíbles interpretaciones de los personajes que, a más de uno llegarás amar u odiar. No verás zombies en todas partes, pero el querer saber que pasará después y los misterios que se entrelazan, te mantendrá enganchado, y si, creísteis que tus vecinos eran molestos y de lo peor, te falta conocer a los de esta historia. Un thriller con un toque de romance donde podrás pasar el rato.
