Greetings Movies & TVshows community, today I want to share with you my review regarding the series Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung.The truth is that I am not a lover of historical dramas, I have seen some of them, but this one caught my attention because of the participation of Cha Eun-woo, since many people commented that her performance in this drama had other airs, other nuances not seen in previous characters and it was not a bad idea to dare to watch it, the truth is a funny story, with a good message and the chemistry between the actors I liked it a lot.

Synopsis
Go Hae-ryung (Shin Se-kyung) is the protagonist of this story, who lives in the time of the 19th century, where Korean laws were stricter and women were treated as an ornamental vase, so she will struggle with these stereotypes that society imposes on gender discrimination. Due to fictional events that occur in the plot, historians (as those who keep records and relate all the events that take place within the dynasty) cannot enter the queen's chambers, so they are forced to recruit female historians, being Hae-ryung and 3 others, in charge of this task, but it will not be easy, because of the aforementioned, regarding gender discrimination, they will face many difficulties to be accepted, both by their co-workers, as those around them.
On her way into the palace, she meets the second prince Dowon, Yi Rim (Cha Eun-woo), who is a popular secret romance novelist. The two begin to get to know each other, developing a romance that will lead them to delve into each other's past and the secrets about their families.
Personal opinion
This story is really beautiful, where the protagonists learn to grow and accept each other's opinions, as one is more romantic and the other is much more focused on their future, a fact that does not stop them, rather they allow themselves to express it and continue with it. Although it is a romance and they give us scenes with an incredible chemistry, it also takes us to that phase of fighting for one's own ideals and not being tripped up by those who think they are superior. Here we see the support that Hae-ryung's brother gives her so that she can do what she wants to do, in that she knows how to write, read, mathematics, physics, astronomy, among others, which were not common within the female circle; this speaks of how the family becomes or should be the engine that drives us to achieve our goals.
I love that she is not a docile protagonist and gives in to the ideals of others, she does not impose herself, but tries to connect with the other so that there is understanding in what she wants to communicate. The interesting thing is that it shows that strict system that Korea carried for that time (although currently it is still an authoritarian one, which has yielded to certain discriminatory norms), not only within their society and the diverse thinking of each one, even that contempt for the foreigner is manifested in the plot.
Also, from my opinion, I feel that we see as an ironic tone, because the historians in charge of relating the real facts within the context in which they are not fully disclose the same, it is something like, these for you to fulfill this position you have with clear objective, but you must meet my demands that are far from what you were originally hired for. With what I want to get is that, it manifests that the story changes depending on who tells it, for that reason it will never be an accurate science, but assumptions of what happened, because only the one who has lived it knows that it is true.
Cha Eun-woo gives us a fresh participation, although there are certain scenes where he lacked more in the interpretation, you can notice the evolution in his performance in each chapter that passes. Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, a fictional story, but with similarity to what happens and has happened in reality, where the woman has been a clear example of an object of satisfaction of the man who, little by little becomes known as a similar of the same.

La verdad no soy amante de los dramas históricos, si he visto unos que otros, pero este me llamo la atención por la participación de Cha Eun-woo, ya que muchos comentaban que su actuación en este drama tenía como otros aires, otros matices no visto en anteriores personajes y no fue una mala idea atreverme a verla, la verdad es una historia divertida, con un buen mensaje y las químicas entre los actores me gusto bastante.

Sinopsis
Go Hae-ryung (Shin Se-kyung) es la protagonista de esta historia, quien vive en la época del Siglo XIX, donde las leyes coreanas eran más estrictas y las mujeres eran tratadas como un florero de adorno, por lo que la misma luchará con estos estereotipos que la sociedad impone sobre la discriminación de género. Por sucesos ficticios que se dan en la trama, los historiadores (son como aquellos que llevan registro y relatan todos los hechos que acontecen dentro de la dinastía) no pueden entrar dentro de los aposentos de la reina, por lo que se ven en la obligación de reclutar historiadoras, siendo Hae-ryung y otras 3, las encargadas de dicha tarea, pero no será fácil, pues por lo ya mencionado, con respecto a la discriminación de género, enfrentaran muchas dificultades para que sean aceptadas, tanto por sus compañeros de trabajo, como los que las rodean.
En su entrada al palacio, conoce al segundo príncipe Dowon, Yi Rim (Cha Eun-woo), quien es un novelista de romance popular a secreto. Ambos empiezan a conocerse, desarrollando un romance que los llevara adentrase al pasado de ambos y los secretos sobre sus familias.
Opinión personal
Esta historia es realmente hermosa, donde los protagonistas aprenden a crecer y aceptar las opiniones de cada quien, ya que uno es como más romántico y la otra mucho más centrada en su futuro, hecho que no los frena, más bien se permiten expresarlo y continuar con ello. Aunque es de romance y nos entregan escenas con una química increíble, nos lleva a su vez esa fase de luchar por los ideales propios y no dejarse tropezar por aquellos que se creen superiores. Aquí vemos el apoyo que le da el hermano de Hae-ryung para que ella haga lo que desea, en eso entra el saber escribir, leer, matemáticas, físicas, astronomía, entre otras más, que no eran común dentro del círculo femenino; esto habla de cómo la familia llega o debería ser el motor que nos impulse a cumplir nuestros objetivos.
Me encanta que no sea una protagonista dócil y que ceda ante los ideales de los demás, no se impone, sino que intenta conectar con el otro para que haya compresión en lo que quiere comunicar. Lo interesante es que muestra ese estricto sistema que Corea cargaba para ese entonces (aunque actualmente sigue siendo uno autoritario, que ha cedido a ciertas normas discriminatorias), no solo dentro de su sociedad y el pensamiento diverso de cada uno, incluso ese desprecio al extranjero se manifiesta en la trama.
También, desde mi opinión, siento que vemos como un tono irónico, porque los historiadores encargados de relatar los hechos reales dentro del contexto en que están no revelan por completo el mismo, es algo como que, estas para que cumplas este cargo que tienes con objetivo claro, más debes cumplir mis exigencias que son alejadas por lo que fuisteis contratado originalmente. Con lo que quiero llegar es que, manifiesta que la historia cambia dependiendo de quien la cuente, por tal motivo nunca será una ciencia acierta, sino suposiciones de lo acontecido, porque solo sabe que es verdadero el que lo haya vivido.
Sin duda, no me arrepiento de haberla visto, Cha Eun-woo nos entrega una participación fresca, aunque hay ciertas escenas donde le falto más en la interpretación, se nota la evolución en su actuación en cada capítulo que pasa. Goo Hae-ryung, la historiadora novata, una historia ficticia, pero con semejanza a lo que pasa y ha pasado en la realidad, donde la mujer ha sido un claro ejemplo de objeto de satisfacción del hombre que, poco a poco se da a conocer como un semejante del mismo.
