Bienvenidos cinéfilos de Hive (¿el termino cinéfilos entra también para series?) no importa, hoy les vengo a contar un poco sobre la serie "Adolescencia" de Netflix. Esta miniserie consta de solo 4 capítulos en donde cada uno de ellos no se deja de rodar en ningún momento, siempre sigue la misma cámara en todo momento, acompañado de un clima tenso con una realidad construida muy cruel en donde muestra realidades típicas del mundo de hoy, vamos a deconstruir la idea desde mi punto de vista sobre ella.
Welcome, Hive cinephiles (does the term cinephiles also apply to series?) It doesn't matter. Today I'm here to tell you a little about the Netflix series "Adolescence." This miniseries consists of just four chapters, each of which never stops shooting. The same camera follows the same camera throughout, accompanied by a tense atmosphere with a very cruel constructed reality that shows typical realities of today's world. Let's deconstruct the idea from my perspective.
El primer capítulo comienza fuerte, con policías yendo a la casa de una familia a arrestar a un niño de 13 años acusado de asesinar a una compañera de colegio, de primera instancia no tenemos muchas pistas claras de poder culpabilizarlo, y eso es interesante y poder disfrutar del clima tenso y construido con la idea de victimizarlo solo por la edad, y su idea de "familia típica". Hasta ahí en mi opinión nos dan la idea (y esto es bajo mi percepción) que la policía es incongruente, al caer a la casa de una familia y para arrestar a un niño con armas y de la manera en la que entran... un poco de bronca me genero... pero siguiendo a la idea de la serie, creo que es lo que ellos buscaban. Ahora bien, este comienzo tiene muchos puntos a tomar en cuenta, el accionar "deficiente" por parte de una burocracia en donde se le debe repetir a un niño cosas que están fuera de su comprensión "si bien podemos atribuirle el título de asesino" sigue siendo (para mi) una falta conceptual grave, citando a -"Rousseau: creía que la creación de la sociedad, con sus normas, leyes y estructuras sociales, introduce la desigualdad, la competencia y la corrupción en la naturaleza humana-. Aquella misma sociedad que te juzga, es la que te lleva a ese lugar, y ya entenderan por qué creo que es asi.
The first episode starts off strong, with police going to a family's home to arrest a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering a schoolmate. At first, we don't get many clear clues as to whether he could be held responsible, and that's interesting. We get to enjoy the tense atmosphere built around the idea of victimizing him just because of his age and his idea of a "typical family." Up to that point, in my opinion, they give us the idea (and this is my perception) that the police are inconsistent when they go into a family's home to arrest a child with a weapon, and the way they enter... it made me a little angry... but following the idea of the series, I think that's what they were looking for. Now, this beginning has many points to take into account, the "deficient" action on the part of a bureaucracy where a child must be told things that are beyond his understanding "although we can attribute to him the title of murderer" is still (for me) a serious conceptual flaw, quoting - "Rousseau: believed that the creation of society, with its norms, laws and social structures, introduces inequality, competition and corruption into human nature-. That same society that judges you is the one that takes you to that place, and you will understand why I think this is so.
Dentro de estos 2 primeros capítulos, vemos las pruebas suficientes para comprobar la culpabilidad del niño, siendo artista principal de asesinato de su compañera de escuela, esto nos deja perplejos, ya que solo mostraban pocas pruebas hasta el momento, ahí arrancamos a notar ciertas actitudes del niño en donde se lo nota con comportamientos psicóticos frente a lo esperado, y aunque aún no sabemos sus "razones" para hacerlo, notamos mucho protagonismo (y considero que es completamente culpa de una sociedad armada de la manera en la que está) que se haya llegado a este desenlace.
Within these first 2 chapters, we see enough evidence to prove the boy's guilt, being the main artist of the murder of his schoolmate, this leaves us perplexed, since they only showed little evidence until now, there we begin to notice certain attitudes of the boy where he is seen with psychotic behaviors in the face of what is expected, and although we still do not know his "reasons" for doing it, we notice a lot of prominence (and I consider that it is completely the fault of a society armed in the way it is) that this outcome has been reached.
Aqui nos podemos meter en la realidad de un padre que ve como su hijo asesina a una chica de también su edad, algo que puede destruir todo en la vida familiar, y si bien hay dichos de que si alguien de nuestro entorno hace algo así deja de ser parte de mí, no creo que sea tan fácil con nuestros hijos, donde, más en el capítulo 4, nos tomaremos con decisiones y chalas profundas familiares culpabilizándose, justificándose, y hasta enojándose de todo lo que pudieron haber evitado estando más presentes. Pero también descubriremos el trasfondo de lo sucedido, en donde la palabra "Incel" toma protagonismo, y mucho más en una sociedad tan agobiante, lo será mucho más para adolescentes que no tengan herramientas sociales. Este término fue usado por la niña quien le hacía bullying al protagonista, como tantos otros estudiantes del colegio. En esta parte vemos la inoperancia del colegio para batallar culturalmente y como institucion educativa las necesidades sociales del momento, en donde esta tan impregnado la violencia a travez de las redes, se vuelve inevitable y hasta incluso aceptable para las familias vivir esta clase de situaciones de violencia por redes.
Here we can immerse ourselves in the reality of a father who sees his son murder a girl his age, something that can destroy everything in family life. While there are sayings that if someone in our environment does something like that, they cease to be a part of me, I don't think it will be so easy with our children, where, more so in chapter 4, we will make decisions and deep family discussions, blaming themselves, justifying themselves, and even getting angry about everything they could have avoided by being more present. But we will also discover the background of what happened, where the word "incel" takes center stage, and even more so in such an oppressive society, it will be even more so for teenagers who lack social tools. This term was used by the girl who bullied the protagonist, like so many other students at school. In this section, we see the school's ineffectiveness in addressing the current social needs, both culturally and as an educational institution. This is where online violence is so prevalent that it becomes inevitable and even acceptable for families to experience these kinds of online violence.
Aquí empezamos a notar comportamiento agresivos del niño con una trabajadora social/psicóloga, en donde nota rasgos violentos. En una parte del episodio, notamos como el padre se lamenta no haber sido rudo con el cómo fueron con el, porque quería ser mejor (esto da pie para aceptar la dureza y violencia de parte de los padres hacia los niños), pero considero que no tiene que ver en el hecho, sino en la causa de como logro llegar el niño a cometer semejante hecho, la ausencia de referentes para la niñes, la falta de administración mínimamente aceptable de instituciones educativas para brindarles las herramientas y una mirada analítica frente a los acontecimientos del mundo... más bien me rijo de una frase que me encanta, que dice: "De que sirve que un niño sepa colocar Neptuno en el universo si no sabe dónde poner su tristeza o su rabia" cito a -Jose Maria Toro- ¿Ustedes que piensan al respecto?
Here we begin to notice aggressive behavior from the child with a social worker / psychologist, where she notes violent traits. In one part of the episode, we notice how the father regrets not having been rude to him as they were with him, because he wanted to be better (this gives rise to accepting the harshness and violence on the part of parents towards children), but I consider that it has nothing to do with the fact, but rather in the cause of how the child managed to commit such an act, the absence of role models for the children, the lack of minimally acceptable administration of educational institutions to provide them with the tools and an analytical look at world events ... rather I guide myself by a phrase that I love, which says: "What good is it for a child to know how to place Neptune in the universe if he does not know where to put his sadness or his anger" I quote -Jose Maria Toro- What do you think about it?
Espero que les guste mi "review" sobre esta miniserie que me causo más de un llanto, y que fue el punto de eje para ver de manera más crítica y confrontable a los acontecimientos desfavorables.
