Ese caballo altivo, contundente y heroíco que corre por las llanuras. Sintiéndose libre y amo de su vida. Ese que no está dispuesto a perder su libertad y que en el camino aprende que para seguir siéndolo debe luchar contra el mundo si es preciso.

A mí siempre me ha gustado esa película. Ese personaje principal me hace querer luchar por ser libre, forjar mi propio destino y buscar un lugar propio para mí.

Esta película del 2002, llamada Spirit, el Córcel Indómable nos regala una hermosa historia de amor, amistad y heroismo.

That haughty, forceful and heroic horse running across the plains. Feeling free and master of his life. The one who is not willing to lose his freedom and who on the way learns that to remain so he must fight against the world if necessary.

I have always liked that movie. That main character makes me want to fight to be free, to forge my own destiny and find a place of my own.

I don't know if I entered the contest, but I still didn't want to leave it unpublished.

Esta película del 2002, llamada Spirit, El Córcel Indómable nos regala una hermosa historia de amor, amistad y heroismo.

Representada es sus dos personajes principales: Spirit y Littel Creek un joven indio, cuyos valores lo llevan a tenderle la mano a su compañero. Estos dos personajes, poco a poco, van tejiedo una hermosa amistad que los llevó a conocerse y aprender uno del otro.

Spirit tiene de todo. Secuencias extremas, de esas que te hacen querer estar allí para ayudar a los personajes. Las que te hacen decir que tienes una basurita en el ojo, porque ni muerto vas a aceptar que estás llorando, porque la escena te llego al cora. Escenas que te hacen suspirar o, simplemente, morir de ternura.

Esta film nos enseña que un corazón libre jamás podré ser domado y que está en nuestras manos tener la vida que queremos. No existen las excusas, ni cabe la frase "esto es lo que me toca, porque así siempre he vivido". No señor. Spirit nos enseña que las cosas suceden sólo cuando nosotros hacemos que sucedan.

His 2002 movie, called Spirit, the indomitable prison, gives us a beautiful story of love, friendship and heroism.

Represented in its two main characters: Spirit and Littel Creek, a young Indian whose values lead him to reach out to his companion. These two characters, little by little, weave a beautiful friendship that leads them to know and learn from each other.

Spirit has everything. Extreme sequences, the kind that make you want to be there to help the characters. The ones that make you say that you have a little garbage in your eye, because not even dead you will accept that you are crying, because the scene got to your heart. Scenes that make you sigh or simply die of tenderness.

This film teaches us that a free heart can never be tamed and that it is in our hands to have the life we want. There are no excuses, and there is no room for the phrase "this is what I have to do, because this is how I have always lived". No sir. Spirit teaches us that things happen only when we make them happen.

Hay una secuencia de la película en la que Spirit finalmente es apresado y está montado en un bagón de una locomotora. Cuando logra comprender lo que sucedía un deseo irrefrenable de luchar lo invadió, pero, por un momento miró a sus compañeros y adviritió en ellos su tristeza, su conformismo.

Esto lo conmocionó de tal manera que sólo por un instante, un breve instante, sintió que no podía más hasta que tomó la decisión de ser libre. De erigirse frente a la opresión y dar todo lo que le quedaba para salir de allí. He allí una píldora de inspiración para quien mira este film, puesto que, nos enfrenta a reflexión de lo que ha sido nuestra vida, hacia dónde vamos y por qué estamos como estamos.

Por otro lado, de forma complementaria también nos muestra que la relación amistosa entre Spirit y Littel Creek que comenzó llena de prejuicios por parte del caballo, demuestra que no todas las personas son malas y que no debemos cerrarnos al amor ni a la amistad sólo por una mala pasada del destino.

Te explico de qué va esto. Nuestro personaje principal es capturado por unos cowboys, quienes lo tratan muy mal. Ellos de verdad son malas personas y hacen extensivos sus malos tratos a las personas que habitan en la tribu de Littel Creek.
Esa experiencia hace que el Caballo se torne arisco y desconfiado haciendo que evite a todos los humanos.

There is a sequence in the film in which Spirit is finally captured and is riding on a locomotive's bagon. When he manages to understand what was happening, an irrepressible desire to fight invaded him, but for a moment he looked at his companions and noticed their sadness, their conformism.

This shocked him in such a way that only for an instant, a brief instant, he felt he could not go on until he made the decision to be free. To stand up to oppression and give everything he had left to get out of it. This is a pill of inspiration for those who watch this film, since it confronts us with the reflection of what our life has been, where we are going and why we are the way we are.

On the other hand, in a complementary way, it also shows us that the friendly relationship between Spirit and Littel Creek, which began full of prejudice on the part of the horse, proves that not all people are bad and that we should not close ourselves to love or friendship just because of a bad fate.

I'll explain what this is about. Our main character is captured by some cowboys, who treat him very badly. They are really bad people and extend their bad treatment to the people who live in the Littel Creek tribe.That experience makes the Horse become surly and distrustful, causing him to avoid all humans.

No obstante, durante el desarrollo de las acciones suceden un par de cosas gracias a la aparición de un nuevo personaje que revoluciona la vida de nuestro protagonista. Se trata de Lluvia, una yegua hermosa, dócil y adorable de la que él queda prendado y también aprende que el amor y la amistad puede venir de cualquier lado.

Es aquí donde también encuentro una gota de inspiración relacionada con la frase en la unión está en la fuerza que obligatoriamente nos hace dejar atrás la desconfianza, abandonar las malas experiencias para abrirnos a nuevas oportunidades para conectar con otros.

¿Quién no ha sufrido una decepción amorosa? ¿Quién no ha sufrido la ofensa de un amigo? Estoy segura de que todos alguna vez han sentido la decepción invadir su vida e ir cerrándose a nuevas oportunidades sólo por esas malas experiencias.
En esta película, es posible advertir que ambos personajes dejan esos prejuicios y se unen para lograr un fin común: Liberarse del malvado cowboys.

En fin, aunque esta película es muy vieja creo que encierra en sí misma un mensaje de superación, amistad y libertad que bien vale compartir una tarde domingo en familia.

Who has not suffered a disappointment in love? Who has not suffered the offense of a friend? I am sure that everyone has felt disappointment invade his or her life at one time or another and has been closed to new opportunities just because of those bad experiences.

In this film, it is possible to see that both characters leave those prejudices behind and unite to achieve a common goal: to free themselves from the evil cowboys.

In short, although this movie is very old, I think it contains a message of overcoming, friendship and freedom that is well worth sharing a Sunday afternoon with the family.
