Lo Mejor Que Verás en Netflix Este Año: Review "Libreta Negra" (Esp-Eng)

Volviendo al resumen de la película y a su historia, esta inicia con el secuestro de un hombre y su hija, esto como medida de presión para que su esposa no siga investigando actos de corrupción en empresas donde estos delincuentes operan.

Pero en la persecución entre los secuestradores y la policía los delincuentes logran escapar, ellos capturan a uno de los criminales y después lo dejan irse, pero necesitando un culpable, comienza la casería buscando un joven negro, alto y con cabello rasta.

Por otra parte, vemos la historia de un hombre diácono de una iglesia conocido como Paul Edima, quien refleja el amor y entrega por su único hijo, con quien es muy unido, solo se tienen el uno al otro, pero para su desgracia su descripción física coincide con el delincuente que estaban buscando.

Returning to the summary of the film and its story, it begins with the kidnapping of a man and his daughter, this as a measure of pressure so that his wife does not continue investigating acts of corruption in companies where these criminals operate.
But in the chase between the kidnappers and the police the criminals manage to escape, they capture one of the criminals and then let him go, but needing a culprit, begins the hunt for a young black man, tall and with dreadlocked hair.
On the other hand, we see the story of a male deacon of a church known as Paul Edima, who reflects the love and devotion for his only son, with whom he is very close, they only have each other, but unfortunately his physical description matches the criminal they were looking for.

Unos policías corruptos lo interceptan cuando este va camino a la iglesia a ver a su padre, quien estaba dando una prédica. Aun cuando el muchacho explica quién es y no estar relacionado con lo que se le acusa, los policías corruptos lo matan sin contemplación por órdenes de sus superiores. Dejando en él toda la culpa del secuestro y cerrando así el caso.

Pero nunca sabemos lo que puede estar escondido dentro de un ser pacífico, muchas son las personas que en la vida real abusan de otras por ser "tranquilas", hasta que estas son consumidas con los demonios que intentaron esconder.

Devastado el padre del muchacho lo encuentra en la playa muerto de un disparo y acusado de ser un secuestrador. Pero esto no termina aquí, porque ahora este dolido padre buscará a toda costa demostrar la inocencia de su amado hijo y limpiar su nombre.

Devastated the boy's father finds him on the beach shot dead and accused of being a kidnapper. But it doesn't end there, because now this grieving father will seek at all costs to prove his beloved son's innocence and clear his name.

Por otro lado, conocemos a Victoria, una Periodista quien busca investigar las mafias y como operan frente a la justicia de ese país Nigeriano. No obstante es detenida por su jefa, quien le pide que deje esos casos, insistiéndole que la protege y que no quiere que le pase lo que a su madre, quien fue muerta por investigar estos mismos casos de corrupción.

Pero como ya sabrán es difícil callar a un Periodista herida y más cuando es movida por algo personal como el investigar y exponer ante la justicia a los asesinos de su madre. Es donde ella conoce el caso del hijo de Edima y se ofrece en ayudarle, pero este le pide que se aleje.

Más tarde el padre del joven exige ver el expediente del caso de su hijo y le niegan entregarle su cuerpo para que este hombre de fe le dé un último adiós, lo que enciende su furia y golpea a los policías. Luego lo arrestan y golpean hasta dejarlo inconsciente y lo lanzan al agua.

On the other hand, we meet Victoria, a Journalist who seeks to investigate the mafias and how they operate in front of the justice system of that Nigerian country. However, she is stopped by her boss, who asks her to leave these cases, insisting that she protects her and does not want what happened to her mother, who was killed for investigating these same cases of corruption, to happen to her.
But as you know it is difficult to silence an injured journalist and even more so when she is moved by something personal like investigating and exposing her mother's murderers to justice. It is where she learns about the case of Edima's son and offers to help him, but he asks her to stay away.
Later the young man's father demands to see his son's case file and they refuse to give him his body so that this man of faith can say a last goodbye, which ignites his fury and he beats the policemen. He is then arrested and beaten unconscious and thrown into the water.

Pues aquí todo comienza a tener sentido y es donde conocemos lo que oculta este pacífico hombre, quien oculta un oscuro pasado. Edima había sido agente de fuerzas especiales, encargado de hacer todas las misiones encomendadas por "El General" un peligroso narco quien opera en Nigeria.

Edima se encarga de investigar y consigue la confesión de los policias involucrados y da con el paradero de los verdaderos culpables y quienes dieron la orden de asesinar a su hijo. Es aquí donde todo se vuelve una locura en vencer o morir.

Pues Edima no parará hasta demostrar la inocencia de su hijo y desenmascara y expone al General y a todos sus complices. Aqui ses empiezan a desempolvar casos del pasado que te hace que todo empiece a cobrar sentido en la historia, se viene acción que parece real, sin necesidad de tantas imágenes sangrientas.

Well, here everything begins to make sense and it is where we know what hides this peaceful man, who hides a dark past. Edima had been a special forces agent, in charge of doing all the missions entrusted by "The General" a dangerous narco who operates in Nigeria.
Edima is in charge of investigating and gets the confession of the cops involved and finds the whereabouts of the real culprits and who gave the order to kill his son. It is here where everything becomes a madness in win or die.
Edima will not stop until she proves her son's innocence and unmasks and exposes the General and all his accomplices. Here you begin to unearth cases from the past that makes everything starts to make sense in the story, action that seems real, without the need for so many bloody images.

En esta película recordé el lema de "El enemigo de mi enemigo es mi amigo" y luego verán por qué se los digo, las cosas comienzan a pasar y vemos a un hombre desesperado buscando aliados del pasado y con sed de venganza. Es una historia que me ha gustado mucho, les podría decir que es una de las mejores que he visto en Netflix este año, una historia diferente que puede llegar a suceder, donde no vemos más sangre de la necesaria y en la que encontramos una historia conmovedora que te hará solidarizarte con el personaje principal y hasta a apoyar su lucha.

No pueden dejar de verla, pues hay mucho más de lo que conté, dura 124 minutos, así que prepara varias rondas de cotufas y snacks.

In this movie I remembered the motto "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and then you will see why I tell you, things start to happen and we see a desperate man looking for allies from the past and with a thirst for revenge. It is a story that I really liked, I could tell you that it is one of the best I have seen on Netflix this year, a different story that can come to pass, where we do not see more blood than necessary and in which we find a touching story that will make you sympathize with the main character and even support his struggle.
You can't miss it, because there is much more than what I told you, it lasts 124 minutes, so prepare several rounds of popcorn and snacks.
