Una comedia romántica definitivamente es mucho mejor cuándo existe y se percibe verdadera química entre sus protagonistas, y esto pasó entre Anne Hathaway y Nicholas Galitzine, en La Idea de Ti.

Es una película del año 2024, y original de Amazon MGM, y la distribuidora Prime Video.

En ese año recuerdo que vi la portada y sólo me atrajo porque era de Anne, pero sin embargo pasó el tiempo y nunca la vi hasta hace pocas semanas que decidí verla, estaba buscando películas románticas y me tope con ella en Prime Video.

A romantic comedy is definitely much better when there is real chemistry between the main characters, and this was the case with Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine in The Idea of You.

It is a 2024 film, originally produced by Amazon MGM and distributed by Prime Video.

I remember seeing the cover that year and being drawn to it because it was Anne, but time passed and I never watched it until a few weeks ago when I decided to give it a try. I was looking for romantic movies and came across it on Prime Video.

Al principio no entendía muy bien a dónde quería irse la trama, ya que habían chicas adolescentes, Anne era mamá (y tenia 40 años) hasta que sucede lo mas inesperado y es que ella (que en la película se llama "Solene" conoce a "Hayes Campbell" que es Galitzine, y el tiene 24 años y aparte forma parte del grupo musical adolescente,August Moon.

Ahí empecé a entender todo pero no me imaginaba que fuera una historia tan bien contada, tan bien interpretada y una historia de amor con detalles únicos que no parecen una mas del montón, de hecho todo se da relativamente rápido entre ellos.

Me encanta el ejemplo que da sobre las mujeres que son fuertemente criticadas por ser mayores y tener una relación amorosa con hombres mas jovenes y que cuando el caso es contrario de que los hombres son mayores y están con mujeres jovenes no es criticado.

At first, I didn't really understand where the plot was going, as there were teenage girls, Anne was a mother (and she was 40 years old), until the most unexpected thing happened: she (who in the film is called “Solene”) meets “Hayes Campbell,” who is Galitzine, and he is 24 years old and also part of the teenage band, August Moon.

That's when I started to understand everything, but I didn't imagine it would be such a well-told story, so well acted, and a love story with unique details that don't seem like just another one of the bunch. In fact, everything happens relatively quickly between them.

I love the example it gives about women who are heavily criticized for being older and having romantic relationships with younger men, while the opposite case, where older men are with younger women, is not criticized.

Es una historia perfecta a mi parecer ya que no es solo un romance que surge de solo atracción, si no que los personajes vienen de situaciones en sus vidas en las que se necesitan uno al otro lo que lo hace mas apasionado y lo que hace que estemos a favor de su union a pensar de la edad.

In my opinion, it's a perfect story because it's not just a romance that arises from attraction alone, but rather the characters come from situations in their lives where they need each other, which makes it more passionate and makes us root for their union despite the age difference.

Ella Rubin es la hija de Anne Hathaway (Solene) en la película es una chica que va a Coachella principalmente con su padre( ex esposo de Solene) pero al final termina yendo con su madre y casualmente la hija a dejado de ser fan de August Moon ( la banda de Hayes) sin embargo el padre paga un pasa VIP para que la chica con sus amigos conozcan a los miembros de August Moon, a lo que Solene y Hayes disimulan como se conocieron.

Más adelante a medida van conociéndose Solene no le cuenta nada a su hija por vergüenza.

Ella Rubin is Anne Hathaway's (Solene) daughter in the film. She is a girl who goes to Coachella mainly with her father (Solene's ex-husband), but in the end she ends up going with her mother. Coincidentally, the daughter is no longer a fan of August Moon (Hayes' band), but her father pays for a VIP pass so that she and her friends can meet the members of August Moon, which leads Solene and Hayes to pretend that they know each other.

Later, as they get to know each other, Solene doesn't tell her daughter anything because she is embarrassed.

¿Por qué recomiendo verla? /Why do I recommend watching it?

Es una película que nunca te aburrirá, tiene bastante intriga sobre que será lo que pasará¿ Como terminará todo esto?, son preguntas que te genera y a la vez te da dosis de alivio al ver que los personajes aparte de sentir algo muy fuerte uno por el otro también se comprenden mutuamente referente a sus circunstancias de vida.

It's a film that will never bore you. It's full of intrigue about what will happen next. How will it all end? These are the questions it raises, while at the same time giving you a sense of relief when you see that, apart from feeling something very strong for each other, the characters also understand each other's life circumstances.

Los personajes tienen una gran química y es crucial para mantenerla romántica.
