Hola a toda la comunidad cinéfila en esta oportunidad quiero hablar es una serie que vi hace poco lo cual me parecía bastante extraña debido a que relata una historia de una persona homosexual que decidí alistarse en las fuerzas armadas en los años 90 lo cual estaba leyendo por allí y me parece un poco interesante debido a que estos estigmas del pasado podían llevar incluso a la cárcel a estas personas.
Hello to all film lovers. Today I want to talk about a series I saw recently, which I found quite strange because it tells the story of a homosexual man who decided to enlist in the armed forces in the 1990s. I was reading about it and found it quite interesting because these stigmas from the past could even lead to these people being sent to prison.
A mí no me gusta mucho eso de la inclusión forzada y los tipos de diferentes que colocan en series y películas lo cual se ha hecho mucho con la era de lo woke lo cual para mí me parecen aburridas este tipo de series, sin embargo, vi algunas reseñas y la serie al tener un toque de comedia y como soy bastante fanático de las series con comedia decidí darle una oportunidad, ya que incluso está inspirada en un libro por lo cual me parece una temática interesante lo que es las fuerzas armadas o las milicias y la homosexualidad.
I don't really like forced inclusion and the different types of characters they put in series and films, which has been done a lot in the woke era. I find these types of series boring. However, I saw some reviews and the series has a touch of comedy, and as I'm quite a fan of comedy series, I decided to give it a try, especially as it's inspired by a book, which makes it an interesting theme for me: the armed forces or militias and homosexuality.
Cuando estaba viendo la serie pude entender que no solamente ese tema es tratado, sino otros temas que son bastante importantes como lo son la amistad, el compañerismo y la lucha por lograr no solamente sus sueños, sino incluso el sueño de otras personas.
Me sorprendió mucho cómo relata las situaciones de cada uno de los personajes y cómo pueden llevar sus problemas a un punto donde no saben qué hacer con su vida y llegan a enlistarse en las fuerzas para convertirse en Marines.
When I was watching the series, I realised that it deals not only with this issue, but also with other important topics such as friendship, camaraderie and the struggle to achieve not only one's own dreams, but also the dreams of others.I was very surprised by how it depicts the situations of each of the characters and how their problems can reach a point where they don't know what to do with their lives and end up enlisting in the forces to become Marines.
No conozco mucho sobre el tema de las milicias o las fuerzas armadas simplemente hay sistemas que son bastante más riguroso rigurosos que otros, pero tengo entendido que las fuerzas de la marina estadounidense es una de las más arraigadas en mantener el orden y la moral siento que la orientación sexual no define si una persona es fuerte o es débil sino que eso depende también más de cómo sea su carácter y otras características tanto físicas como mentales.
Esto quiere decir que hay personas que lucen bastante fuertes, pero por dentro pueden estar débiles de espíritu o mentalmente, donde también existen personas que se ven bastante pequeñas o a simple vista débil y son tremendos oradores motivacionales y pueden sacarte una sonrisa fácilmente.
I don't know much about militias or armed forces, but there are simply some systems that are much more rigorous than others. However, I understand that the US Navy is one of the most deeply rooted in maintaining order and morale. I feel that sexual orientation does not define whether a person is strong or weak, but that it also depends more on their character and other physical and mental characteristics.This means that there are people who appear quite strong, but inside they may be weak in spirit or mentally, while there are also people who appear quite small or weak at first glance and are tremendous motivational speakers who can easily make you smile.
Para mí la serie tiene ese toque de comedia que es bastante interesante, ya que en ese tiempo enlistarse en las fuerzas armadas y ser homosexual era penado, esto haciendo algo que se ve en la serie y claro está creo que para el 2011 esto no tenía ningún sentido e incluso la inconstitucional como dije anteriormente una cosa no define a la otra y sé que existe muchas personas que son homosexuales y sirven en la fuerza Armada y pueden rendir en el campo de batalla tanto como una persona heterosexual.

Me gustó mucho que la serie no se enfocará en el tema homosexual sino en esa diversas situaciones que tiene cada uno de los protagonistas de esta serie porque la serie en un principio pensé que era un solo protagonista, sin embargo, veo como todos en cada uno se prestará de apoyo los unos a los otros para subirse a la moral y así poder hacer todos los ejercicios o la exigencia física que se necesitaban y de esta manera puede otorgar de una forma poder graduarse de Marines lo cual hacía un poco dificultoso el aprendizaje, ya que los problemas a veces pueden invadir nuestra vida y de esta manera solamente podemos solventar algunas que otros mientras duchamos y aguantamos día tras día.
I really liked that the series will not focus on the homosexual theme but rather on the diverse situations that each of the protagonists in this series faces, because at first I thought the series had only one protagonist. However, I see how everyone will support each other to boost their morale so that they can all do the exercises or meet the physical demands required, and in this way, they can graduate from the Marines, which made learning a little difficult, since problems can sometimes invade our lives, and in this way, we can only solve some of them while we shower and endure day after day.
