Hace unos días vi una película de origen noruego que fue estrenada en Netflix hace poco, es una película de fantasía que está llena de leyendas que no son del todo falsas; una de las razones del porqué decidí vi esta película fue que el director que la dirige fue el mismo que dirigió La Última Ola y esa peli me gusto bastante a pesar de los fallos que tiene.
A few days ago I watched a movie of Norwegian origin that was released on Netflix recently, it is a fantasy movie that is full of legends that are not entirely false; one of the reasons why I decided to watch this movie was that the director who directs it was the same one who directed The Last Wave and I liked that movie quite a lot despite the flaws it has.

Sinceramente, no sabía que peli o serie traer para este nuevo Contest y creo que Troll es una buena película que nos muestra una victoria algo amarga, pero que viéndolo desde el punto de vista de la ciudadanía es una victoria que era necesaria, esta película como ya mencione fue estrenada en Netflix y tiene una duracion de 1h 41 m, fue dirigido por Roar Uthaug y tiene un reparto que para mí es completamente nuevo, ya que es primera vez que los veo en pantalla, este reparto está encabezado por Ine Marie Wilmann, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, Kim S. Falck-Jørgensen, Anneke von der Lippe, Gard B. Eidsvold, Fridtjov Såheim y Dennis Storhøi.
Honestly, I did not know what movie or series to bring for this new Contest and I think Troll is a good movie that shows us a somewhat bitter victory, but seeing it from the point of view of citizenship is a victory that was necessary, this film as I mentioned was released on Netflix and has a duration of 1h 41 m, was directed by Roar Uthaug and has a cast that for me is completely new, since it is the first time I see them on screen, this cast is headed by Ine Marie Wilmann, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, Kim S. Falck-Jørgensen, Anneke von der Lippe, Gard B. Eidsvold, Fridtjov Såheim and Dennis Storhøi.

La historia nos lleva a Noruega donde en una manifestación en la Montaña de Dovre ocurre una tragedia, algo sin razón alguna causo una explosión provocando la muerte de muchas personas en el lugar, debido a la grave situación el gobierno de Noruega decide buscar la ayuda de la Paleontóloga Nora Tidemann quien a su vez decide buscar la ayuda de su padre Tobías Tidemann quien tiene algunas “teorías” basada en una antigua leyenda, Nora no quiere aceptar esa pequeña vocecita que le dice que su padre quizás tenga razón luego de ver una imagen donde se ve la figura de una especie extraña que tiene cuerpo de hombre gigante, no es despues de verlo con sus propios ojos que Nora decide aceptar que en esa montaña ha despertado un antiguo Troll que está decidido a ir hasta Oslo y buscar a su familia.

Esta película fue la primera que a pesar de tener esa duración se me hizo muy corta, tiene una trama que es fácil de ver y una historia que es simple y va de una vez al punto de interés; es una película que no fuerza las situaciones y no divaga antes de mostrar lo que es realmente, no le dan tanta vuelta a la historia como tal y deciden mostrar rápidamente el causante de esta “tragedia” y desde ese momento la trama cobra fuerza y la historia se desarrolla rápidamente.
This movie was the first one that in spite of having that length was very short for me, it has a plot that is easy to watch and a story that is simple and goes at once to the point of interest; it is a movie that does not force situations and does not digress before showing what it really is, they do not give so much to the story as such and decide to quickly show the cause of this "tragedy" and from that moment the plot gains strength and the story develops quickly.

Troll hizo que hubiera sentimientos encontrados dentro de mí, siento que es una película que tiene una victoria amarga, pero necesaria por el bien de los habitantes de este país, pero a su vez cuando se adentran un poco en la historia de lo que fueron los Troll nos damos cuenta de que fuimos nosotros los que decidimos invadir su espacio, su lugar y los sacamos cruelmente de su hogar; es una historia que te enseña lo que el ser humano o bueno los políticos son capaces de hacer al encontrarse en una situación desconocida frente a una criatura que se creía que solo eran leyendas, ellos acuden a lo que saben y a lo que piensan que puede herirlo y a pesar de darse cuenta de que es imposible acabar con él deciden intentarlo hasta que lo logren sin importar las consecuencias para su país.
Troll made me have mixed feelings inside me, I feel that it is a film that has a bitter victory, but necessary for the sake of the inhabitants of this country, but at the same time when you go a little into the history of what the Trolls were we realize that we were the ones who decided to invade their space, their place and cruelly took them out of their home; It is a story that teaches you what human beings or politicians are capable of doing when they find themselves in an unknown situation facing a creature that was believed to be only legends, they turn to what they know and what they think can hurt him and despite realizing that it is impossible to kill him, they decide to try until they succeed regardless of the consequences for their country.

Al decir que es una victoria amarga es porque sientes que era algo que se tenía que hacer, pero a su vez te deja una sensación amarga al saber las razones de su despertar, sé que quizás esta película no representa una victoria como tal, pero siento que es el tipo de peli que te demuestra que no todas las victorias siempre tienen que dejarte una sensación de alegría, hay victorias que dejan en ti un sentimiento entre el alivio y la tristeza y Troll representa muy bien este caso en particular.
