Como sabemos la política es un tema delicado a tratar y en lo personal no me gusta nada hablar de ello, Siempre he considerado que la política es aburrida y muy conflictiva, por lo que nunca escogía pelis con estas tramas porque sentía que terminaría aburrida a más no poder.
As we know politics is a delicate subject to deal with and personally I don't like to talk about it, I have always considered that politics is boring and very conflictive, so I never chose movies with these plots because I felt that I would end up bored to death.

Sin embargo, este pensamiento se acabó desde que vi la película Experta en Crisis y desde entonces solía escoger pelis con estas tramas y me di cuenta de que a pesar de ser un tema polémico, es interesante y el cómo lo muestran en diferentes películas te hace entender algunas situaciones a pesar de ser ficción.
However, this thought ended since I saw the movie Our Brand Is Crisis and since then I used to choose movies with these plots and I realized that despite being a controversial topic, it is interesting and how they show it in different movies makes you understand some situations despite being fiction.

From what I researched at the time, I learned that this movie is based on a documentary that was released in 2005, Crisis Expert has a wonderful cast that was headed by the great actress Sandra Bullock and the great actor Anthony Mackie.

La peli nos muestra el lado interno de unas elecciones presidenciales, veremos como 2 asesores de diferentes partidos se enfrentan para realizar una campaña ganadora donde la opinión del pueblo es importante. Por lo general solemos ver la parte superficial de una campaña política, no vemos el esfuerzo que hacen los asesores para que su candidato se vea impecable ante la vista del pueblo y esta película retrata a la perfección todo lo que se vive internamente.
The film shows us the internal side of a presidential election, we will see how 2 advisors from different parties face each other to make a winning campaign where the opinion of the people is important. Usually we usually see the superficial part of a political campaign, we do not see the effort made by the advisors to make their candidate look impeccable in front of the people's eyes and this film portrays to perfection everything that is lived internally.

Me gusta mucho que intenten ser lo más real posible, desde campañas hasta protestas y eso hace que se acerque a la realidad de unas elecciones. La trama tiene sus altas y bajas, pero no llega a un punto donde se ponga aburrida, tiene algunos giros bastante buenos y que logra sorprender al espectador y a pesar de ser una película de política, Sandra le da un toque de humor leve, lo que hace que la historia no sea tan tensa.
I really like that they try to be as real as possible, from campaigns to protests and that makes it get closer to the reality of an election. The plot has its ups and downs, but it doesn't get to a point where it gets boring, it has some pretty good twists and turns that manage to surprise the viewer and despite being a political movie, Sandra gives it a touch of light humor, which makes the story not so tense.

Los personajes son muy buenos y logré conectar profundamente con Jane Bodine quien es interpretado por una de mis actrices favoritas, Sandra Bullock. Me gusto muchísimo la personalidad de este personaje y el cómo demuestra sus emociones le da un toque muy bueno a la peli, Siento que Sandra realiza una actuación perfecta al trasmitir todo lo que va sintiendo al ver a un pueblo que está decepcionado por situaciones dentro de la política. Claramente, no es el mejor personaje que esta actriz ha interpretado, pero ella simplemente lo hace brillar y no opaca al resto de sus compañeros, cada uno de ellos ponen de su parte a la historia y destacan en sus personajes.
The characters are very good and I managed to connect deeply with Jane Bodine who is played by one of my favorite actresses, Sandra Bullock. I really liked the personality of this character and how she shows her emotions gives a very good touch to the movie, I feel that Sandra gives a perfect performance to convey everything she is feeling when she sees a people who are disappointed by situations within politics. Clearly, it is not the best character that this actress has played, but she simply makes it shine and does not overshadow the rest of her co-stars, each of them do their part to the story and excel in their characters.

Thanks to Our Brand Is Crisis I decided to give a chance to other movies that deal with political issues and I noticed that this movie is not the best in showing in depth what an election is, but I am quite fond of it, since it was the first one to show me that politics is not boring, on the contrary, it is an interesting topic and there are many movies that sometimes feel so real every time they deal with this specific topic.
