Lou es una mujer misteriosa y solitaria que vive a las afueras de una pequeña isla, esta mujer tiene un carácter fuerte y extrañamente sabe como moverse en situaciones de peligro. Lou suele alquilarle la propiedad de al lado a Hannah y su pequeña hija, una noche mientras una tormenta azotaba la isla, Philip quien se supone está muerto, decide aparecer en la vida de Hannah y secuestrar a su pequeña hija Vee.
Lou is a mysterious and lonely woman who lives on the outskirts of a small island, this woman has a strong character and strangely knows how to move in dangerous situations. Lou usually rents the property next door to Hannah and her little daughter, one night while a storm hit the island, Philip who is supposed to be dead, decides to appear in Hannah's life and kidnap her little daughter Vee.

Lou is an action-thriller movie that Netflix premiered recently, it has a duration of 1h 47m and was directed by Anna Foerster. It has an interesting cast that is led by Allison Janney, Jurnee Smollett and Logan Marshall-Green. Honestly, of all the actors and actresses who appeared in the film, I only recognized Jurnee Smollett because he participated in the Grey's Anatomy series, so this is the first time I see others acting and I have no other reference to know how Well they did in this movie.

Soy muy fans de este tipo de películas y me gusta mucho ver como se va desarrollando la historia y los giros que pueda dar, Lou no es de mis favoritas, ya que he visto mejores con tramas similares, pero me gusto mucho los pequeños giros que se fueron dando a lo largo de la película. A pesar de que para mi gusto le falto un poco más de acción, no se hizo pesada, tiene una tensión agradable y un toque de suspenso que es gracias a Lou quien para mí fue la protagonista en todo momento.
I am a big fan of this kind of movies and I really like to see how the story unfolds and the twists it can take, Lou is not one of my favorites, since I have seen better ones with similar plots, but I really liked the little twists that They occurred throughout the film. Despite the fact that for my taste it lacks a little more action, it was not heavy, it has a pleasant tension and a touch of suspense that is thanks to Lou who for me was the protagonist at all times.

A pesar de que le falto muchísimo para ser una película excelente y que además tiene una trama muy cliché, siento que la química que tiene Lou y Hannah y que además Lou sea un personaje sumamente intrigante y misterioso hará que la película sea entretenida. Me gusto mucho que colocaran la tormenta como la ambientación principal de la película, le da un toque de misterio que te pondrá la tensión a mil.
Even though it's a long way from being a great movie and also having a very clichéd plot, I feel that the chemistry between Lou and Hannah and Lou being such an intriguing and mysterious character will make the movie entertaining. I really liked that they placed the storm as the main setting of the film, it gives it a touch of mystery that will put the tension to a thousand.

Me gusto mucho que no indagaran de una vez en lo que es en realidad la historia como tal, la película te va mostrando poco a poco la verdad y lo interesante es que tu mente creara teorías acertadas, ya que es un poco predecible, pero aun asi quedaras sorprendido por algunos temas que no voy a profundizar porque no quiero soltar ningún spoilers.
I really liked that they didn't investigate at once what the story really is as such, the film shows you the truth little by little and the interesting thing is that your mind created correct theories, since it is a bit predictable, but still So you will be surprised by some topics that I am not going to deepen because I do not want to release any spoilers.

Los personajes estuvieron bastante bien, como dije al principio no tengo referencias para ver como actúan estos actores y actrices, pero siento que lo hicieron muy bien y en ninguna ocasión se sintió forzada la actuación, cada uno de los principales supieron transmitir sus sentimientos y conectas enseguida con ellos; Allison Janney fue la que más destaco en la película con su personaje de Lou, ese toque de seriedad y misterio fue increíble y quede con ganas de ver más de su trabajo.
The characters were quite good, as I said at the beginning I have no references to see how these actors and actresses act, but I feel that they did very well and on no occasion did the performance feel forced, each of the main characters knew how to convey their feelings and connect immediately with them; Allison Janney was the one who stood out the most in the film with her character of Lou, that touch of seriousness and mystery was incredible and I am looking forward to seeing more of her work.
