What's the story with Bollywood?

I intended on writing a long parody on why Bollywood is trash and the entire industry ought to be buried. But I thought better when I remembered 3 Idiots, Slumdog Millionaire and Like Stars on Earth.

That being the case, I have to admit that there are more trashy Bollywood movies than amazing ones. It's safe to assume that the industry should be burnt down and not exactly buried.

Aamir Khan, I just googled his name and I have to let you know that he's the reason I wouldn't mind seeing 3 Idiots and Like stars on Earth a million times over. His role in those movies was intense and well thought out. Even at 56, I would still let him father my babies.

That said, my major beef with Bollywood productions have to be their seasonals shown on Zeewoorld and other tv channels.

Yesterday, I happened to be in the living room while my younger sister happened to be seeing one of these IQ reducing shows. I felt sick and an extra second watching it could have certainly killed me. I'm not being dramatic.

I'd like to understand why the same energy that's put into these Bollywood films aren't replicated for their tv series. Are they intentionally trying to make people dumber or they have no idea what they're doing??

I've never followed up with any of these series and I'm quick to judge people who do. I strongly feel like they have no taste in movies, they don't deserve the internet and they sure as hell don't deserve cable.

Okay, I know I said this wouldn't be a parody about my hatred, so I'll just stop here.

I dislike Bollywood as well but mostly because they have no film sense.

I am not a fan of bollywood but you still haven't given us a convincing reason why you do not like the bollywood tv series or the exact things which you do not like about them..

Their tv shows have no sequence. They have wonderful quality, but terrible movements. Their actions are robotic and unreal. The storylines seem uncoordinated. The list is pretty long.

Bollywood was able to make a huge leap in the recent period and dominate a large part of the international cinema and drama
It's a wonderful achievement to reckon with
